The beat-up old car sits on the used-car lot, rusty and forsaken. Years of abuse and hard driving have taken their toll on the formerly shiny automobile.

A man walks onto the lot and is attracted to this rust bucket. He plunks down cash and the salesperson hands over the keys while saying, "I'm selling you this car 'as is.'" The new owner just smiles; he knows his cars, and he's about to restore this castoff to its former beauty.

Across town, a troubled woman sits in forlorn sadness, contemplating where she went wrong. Years of abuse and hard living have taken their toll on what was once a vibrant young girl. She's been mistreated by others so many times that she feels she has little value anymore. And after making her own mistakes and living with her own bad choices, she's sure she will be left on life's junk heap forever.

But then someone tells her about Jesus. Someone mentions that Jesus specializes in castoffs, that He is waiting to transform anyone who trusts Him—even her. Someone tells her that Jesus will take her "as is." She believes. She trusts. And Jesus begins to restore another lost person to the abundant life He has promised. —Dave Branon

Also, by the time of Julius Caesar, the Celts were in the process of having their tail repeatedly kicked by Germans.

JC moved in and killed something 1/3 like of all the (Celtic) Gauls, selling another 1/3 of them into slavery.

As it happened, the Romans conquered the Celts just before the Germans would have.

Other Celtic groups (Irish, Welsh, Scots) generally have throughout history been far too busy fighting and stabbing each other in the back to form themselves into effective military forces against outsiders. Celtic soldiers have been most effective when conquered and incorporated into the armies of their conquerors, when, to be fair, they have been amazingly effective.

No, I'm not trying to be contentious, but I don't consider the Celts the premiere warriors of ancient Europe. I think the Roman legions were. Does that mean they were perfect? No. Check Carrhae, Teutoberg Wald, every battle against Hannibal but Zama,Adrianople and their inability to defeat the Sassanids in Persia. Still, they conquered Europe, including Celtic Northern Italy, Celtic Iberia, Celtic Gaul,and Celtic Britain. So I'd pick them against the Celts, any time.

I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.

JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.

I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.

Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.

That charge is a lie.

The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

I have been accused of something that I didn't do
And I am being sued for it!


On December 2, 2000, I held a rally in New Haven in front of then Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman's house, doing what little I could to show support for the newly elected President Bush, and to show my frustration at the Democrats in their attempts to overturn the genuinely won election by George W. Bush.


At the end of the rally, Former Ct State Senator Tom Scott was speaking on the back of my truck, when all of a sudden the lead Democrat supporter of the counter rally held at the same location, started to approach my truck, then turned and took 3 or 4 running steps and jumped on the bed of my truck in a manner that I thought he was going to attack someone on the truck: either me or Tom.


I stepped to his side and held out my arm to stop him as he ran into my arm and immediately stopped his forward motion.


I kept my hand held out in front of him to prevent him from going forward on the truck bed and get closer to Tom who was speaking at the time.


After 3 seconds or so, the man who jumped on my truck immediately turned and jumped down off the truck into the arms of the Police who quickly escorted him away from my truck.


The whole incident lasted no more than 5 seconds it seems.


Tom and I decided to not press charges for assault or trespass on my truck, and let him go.


9 months later, the man filed suit against me for assault.


I am not joking.


9 months later.


He claims I grabbed his throat.


Look at the picture. This picture was taken December 2, 2000.


That is the man who claims I was grabbing his throat. My hand is on his chest, not his throat. My hand was NEVER on his throat, nor was it ever near his throat!






Why I made this website
Because of the lawsuit, I am forced to endure thousands of dollars of debt that I cannot afford. I have been employed only in temporary positions since 2001 when telecom collapsed, and am deep in debt.


This man is trying to use the legal system to get tens of thousands of dollars from me that does not belong to him, and he is doing it by claiming I assaulted him, which I did not do at all.

Because of this false charge against me, I am now over $8000 in debt to my lawyer, and we cannot continue until I can pay my bill!
