I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.
JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.
I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.
Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.
That charge is a lie.
The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.
Let's keep this bumped to the top. I'll help where I can RB. And I'll pass this on to a few friends.
I'll do my part.
His church is a 501(c)(03).

FIRST CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH
605 Dixwell Ave
New Haven, CT 06511
EIN: 06-1173497
This organization is not required to file an annual return with the IRS because it is a church. It is a 501(c)(03) public charity.
No need for you to feel embarrassed. I should be the one who should be embarrassed because all I can offer are words of support because financially I'm strapped.
I have been reading the thread and some of the posters make me ill. The kind of people you do not want with you in any battle. Sanctimonious is the most polite term I can think of.
God bless you, man, you'll definitely be in my prayers!

That man has a valid opinion of what I do freely admit saying and where I stand on certain topics.
However, I have helped others on this site regardless of their views. There has only been a couple, and I did not ask what they believed first.
And, Yes, I would buy Sinkspur a chocolate milk...if we ever meet...
Oh, no! Race, I don't have money to spare, but I wish you well.
I'll help you. Will mail out the check tomorrow morning.
Thanks Race. I will pray for you.
Bump...I'll help, Race.
Been there, FRiend.
Don't be embarrassed.
Give me a couple of weeks; I may be able to shake of a piece by then.
Accepting FR donations might preclude your eligibility for Legal Aid, especially if FR donations are legally considered income.
Was the suit filed in federal or Connecticuit court? If it was in federal court, you could file a motion for summary judgment.
Required disclaimer: I am a law student, not a lawyer. I am not admitted to the bar of any state.
Sending prayers and $$.
For what it's worth, Cyborg's idea about contacting Mark Levin is great. Levin also could put you in touch with Hannity.

I have an excellent lawyer, and wish I could reveal more, but...
I met Race at our CT Vets rally this Fall. You're a fine American citizen and as such are undeserving of this gross misuse of our courts. Count me in!
No need to apologize to me; at least you were nice about what you said to him.
I will send you some money.
