WASHINGTON In a diabolical plot, al Qaeda operatives may be trying to smuggle nuclear weapons into Mexico for an eventual strike against the United States, Time magazine reports.Sharif al-Masri, an Egyptian who was captured in late August near Pakistan's border with Iran and Afghanistan, told interrogators that al Qaeda plans to "smuggle nuclear materials to Mexico, then operatives would carry material into the U.S.," according to Time.

The chilling plot, although unconfirmed, has prompted U.S. officials to heighten concerns about Mexico.
Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge met with Mexican officials in that country last week to discuss border security.

If it gets set off in Mexico there will a rush north by millions of people
Oh. Business as usual.
And we still have a lot of RATS running around, wanting to give them drivers licenses? Any question as to whose side they're rooting for?
This is the perfect reason to actually seal the borders while pretending that we don't want to do so. Win/win situation.
"Sorry illegals, we can no longer accept your crossing without shooting you first. Nothing personal, just NATIONAL SECURITY".
The fact that the terrorists are trying to smuggle nukes INTO Mexico is a sign that Mexico isn't being tough on terrorism. No where in that article does it say that Mexico is even the slightest bit worried.
Dust rises in the distance... a dark mass moves northward, observed by satellites it looked like a giant ameoba...
The border guards never had a chance.
The populations of San Diego and Los Angeles and San Antonio doubled in a week and El Paso tripled.
I don't care if they do say it's coming from Mexico. When I go up to the Washington/BC border, all I see along the road are the domes of Mosques. Once over the border, you see a large percentage of them in the Vancouver area are Muslims. I wouldn't concentrate on just Mexico.
SEAL BOTH BORDERS.
In other words, the percentage of Spanish-speaking inhabitants of these cities increase from 75% to 98%.
1. By commercial airline.
2. By commercial cargo plane.
3. By Private plane.
4. By ship straight into an American port.
5. By ship into territorial waters and then transferred to a coastal boat.
6. Hidden in secret compartments of trucks or cars crossing through customs.
One thing you can be assured of. As difficult as it is to acquire a nuclear weapon and smuggle it all the way to Mexico, they will not risk the 50% chance of being caught trying to carry it across the desert on foot.
oh and lets not forget the little Republic of Utopia since they will secede...
Invite those terrorists through the military shooting range near the border and we shall have live targets to destroy.

Wait a minute... did it just occur to "them" that the holes in the Mexican border might be a security risk? Gimme a break!
The Transportation Security Administration issued an advisory on Friday that a Piper PA 25 Pawnee crop-dusting aircraft was stolen from Ejido Queretaro, near Mexicali, Mexico, on Nov. 1. "Although there is currently no indication that this has any connection to terrorist activity," the TSA said, "the theft is cause for concern.
Past information indicates that members of al-Qa'ida may have planned -- or may still be planning -- to disperse biological or chemical agents from cropdusting aircraft."
The stolen aircraft is registered in Mexico and bears the tail number XBCYP. If you see the aircraft, the TSA says you should immediately contact the TSA General Aviation Hotline at (866) 427-3287.M/b>

Well if Bush is going to let the "illegals" in to find jobs the least we can do is let them drive legally.

One can almost hear the Open Border Lobby's pucker strings tightening in unison. Could this news effect the cost of labor?
