That video shows what happened, It is by NO means an execution.

I saw that video yesterday. I thought it was great when he turned around and said "He's gone."

THIS IS A BLOODY OUTRAGE!

I watched the video. There is nothing to even remotely suggest that there was anything even there. The marine appears to fire off a round somewhat aimlessly straight ahead, not down on ground. He wasn't even aiming. Perhaps just a parting shot or something. Watch the video. To me it seems like the words "he's gone" refers to the fact that the insurgent LEFT.

This newspaper is deliberately inciting violence. This can not be tolerated! Whoever is in charge of that newspaper deserves to have his nuts kicked in.

There is NO WAY to confirm any such "execution".

The Marine casually fires one quick shot, turns immediately, casually jumps down and clearly says "he's gone". This most likely implies that the terrorist was either hiding or had run away, the single shot was to test the situation. The Marine would not have turned so quick after one shot.
