And here I thought I was going to be able to retire my JFK commemorative edition Flip-Flops - guess I'll haul 'em back out next time Arlen wanders my way...

It was Specter's vote in July to send the Federal Marriage Amendment to the Senate floor that nixed the homosexual group's endorsement, even though Specter publicly clarified that he would have voted against it if it had come up for a floor vote.Ahhh, nuanced, just like Kerry.

Add to Arlen's display of his true colors ... "Not Proven."
That "quasi" vote alone is more than enough to long march him off of a very short pier.
Frist, el. at., need their feet placed into the fire for a very long time should Specter become chairman.
The penalty for those who support Specter ... those GOP senators on the Judiciary Committee ... is zero, zip, zilch ... re-election campaign contributions!

I hope he is thrown out. I don't like Specter at all. He is a turncoat.

Cheryl Jacques, executive director of HRC, Those who support discrimination into the Constitution dont deserve our support.

What would the Founding Fathers have
written into the Constitution if
Homosexuals were an issue in their days?

"Specter 'Fuming' over homosexual snub".
I thought it meant he was at a gay party and no men 'Hit' on him.

What would the Founding Fathers have written into the Constitution if Homosexuals were an issue in their days? "Whereas, all faggots shall immediately be returned to France."

230 Years ago when the founding fathers were writing the US Constitution the didn't put in homosexual marriage for a reason. Because it's NOT DISCRIMINATION and it's NOT A RIGHT!

Republican Senator Arlen Specter is said to be "fuming"...
Said by who? There isn't one source mentioned in this "article".
This gets more ridiculous by the day.
