I hate the wcc and the ncc - may they burn in hell with Arafat and all the dictators they have supported and loved through out the years.

Although Israeli government officials and some of their Christian supporters in Jerusalem criticized Arafat for his alleged links to terrorist networks, WTF?!

"the wcc is a fellowship of churches, now 342 in more than 120 countries in all continents from virtually all christian traditions"
342 churches?
that number speaks for it self!

Just like in the presidential election these folks are clueless. They play this dumb socialists idology game while their membership slips away. Much like the dems.

Arafat had his chance to establish a homeland and state for the Palestinian people. He failed to take advantage of that opportunity. To those who say that Arafat could not avail himself of that opportunity because he would surely would have been killed by Palestinian radicals, such a position leads to only one of two possibilities, or both: either (1) Arafat was a coward who was unable to muster the courage to risk his life for a Palestinian homeland and state; or (2) he, in fact, was not the leader of the Palestinian people that the rest of the world and our own liberal media would have us believe; but, rather, was merely a pathetic figurehead being manipulated by radical Islamic fundamentalists.

If this isn't an anti-Semitic statement, what is???
To: Nyboe
Ecumenically socialistic Christians (all rather oxymoronic), buttressed by the NCC and supporting churches.

Exactly. I guess they've absolved Arafat for the murder of the helpless, elderly wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer--the man who was thrown overboard when the Achille Lauro was boarded and the passengers taken hostage...
Nice of them to forgive him. I don't forgive him OR them.

No kidding. That's why I refuse to set foot inside ANY Christian church that associates itself with either the NCC or WCC.
