Cheney rushed to hospital
Condi Rice is not a politician, so forget her running.
Let's not give them hits, ok?

10-4. I like to keep up with them, you know. Is this inadvisable? For the hits? Other?
I was just over at DU. Big mistake, they are full of Hate, lots of pictures of upsidedown flags.... I think I need my stomach pumped.
Learned my lesson though.
Prayers for our Vice President and his family.
I always thought it made sense for Cheney to step down as VP early during the 2nd term, allowing the "heir apparent" (whoever that might be) to have 3-4 years as VP before running for Pres in 2008. Cheney is too valuable to just leave, perhaps become national security adviser, chief of staff, etc with some shuffling of people in the inner circle.
Not on this thread. DU threads are ok, so long as they're posted in the Blog section. Thanks.
Tell you what; the news got me out of bed with a start on this Sunday morning - there goes my lie-in.

Please see #438. Thanks.
Dave, slow down. YOU are over reacting. My husband was just diagnosed with CHF two mos. ago. He could walk to the mailbox, etc. His major symptoms were, and still are, shortness of breath and fatigue. I was simply sharing information from my own experience, not jumping the gun.
One thing I find so engaging about Free Republic is the expertise and experience people bring to all of the issues we discuss here.
I absolutely concur that there are several different issues that may be responsible for his trip to the hospital.
I vociferously deny expressing my opinion as to possible problems that the VP is dealing with as a way to "have something to gab about."
Shame on you.
I see your point. It's repulsive stuff.
I join in prayer for this mighty man!
Thanks for understanding.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in thee.
May the Lord hold VP Cheney in the hollow of his hand.
"Condi Rice is not a politician, so forget her running".....
She sure would pick-up a few blue states...........
I didn't think about that...but I think it may have been a month ago or so.
Would it affect him this far away from the time he got it?
Does it have a month-long incubation period?
I'm not well enough informed I don't think.
Maybe all of this should just serve as a reminder to all of us to pray for Cheney's heart...period. If any of you believe that God still has prophets in the church, Kim Clement had a word that specifically said to pray for the VP's heart.
FNC: Tests are normal. EKG and one other test...normal.
Great news.
EKG test results are normal!
