PALMER: Christian school fires educator who says Jesus inspired him.
WASILLA -- Matanuska Christian School's principal has been fired and a teacher has quit over a disciplinary incident in which the principal had himself whipped in front of two students.
Principal Steve Unfreid, who said he was inspired in his choice of disciplinary tactics by the actions of Jesus, asked teacher Joe Brost to whip him in front of two male students in the school's basement last month after the boys were caught kissing girls in the locker room for the second time in a week.
Unfreid, in an interview Friday at his home, acknowledged he should have called the boys' parents first but expressed no regret for his behavior.
The school's board of directors unanimously decided in a closed door session Sunday to fire Unfreid.
Brost resigned Monday night at a crowded meeting in the school's chapel. He did not want to comment for this story.

Wierd but I don't really see any big deal. I would have let them go one with the whipping much longer, snickering all the while. When I was a kid I would have loved to have had the principal get the paddle in my place. I wear it as a badge of honor that they actually broke a board on my butt.
Some sexual undertones to this whole thing, eh? And what punishment did the girls receive? Hmmm???

The teacher only whipped himself right? That doesn't sound worthy of a comparison to islamofascist countries. In their countries the women would be stoned to death and the men whipped. You wouldn't see an Imam standing in front of everyone whipping himself.
I'm sure those boys learned a valuable lesson from the experience.

Sorry for the poor misguided principal. This is what adolescent boys and girls do when given the opportunity. It is so much better than kissing the same sex. How about a little counseling on the appropriate time and place, an admonition, and "get back to class."
