I just got back from a High School football game. For three quarters I was talking football and joking with an older man sitting behind me. I had my W 2004 hat on. He all of a sudden realized I was a Bush man and started to yell about God and the Texas National Guard. He was quite upset and his wife tried to calm him down. I turned and ignored him the rest of the game.
The irrational reaction of Democrats is hard for me to comprehend. What ever happened to common courtesy? I want to warn all Freepers to be careful. Dont expect civility and decorum from democrats.
Did his face turn red?
Where do you live, and how old was the old fart?
more like blue
Did he get that foamy spittle on the corner of his mouth? I love when that happens.
They are completely unhinged. While this is a thing to be savored, they are best avoided for the time being. Seriously. These people are nuts. They still haven't learned how to lose.
Ahem, um, yeah. When have they not been like that?
Naples, Florida He was 76 years old and from Youngstown Ohio.
Did you tell him you voted more than once?
God and the Texas National Guard, huh? Sounds like a real Kool-Aid drinker.
The old ones are the worst. You can understand a young product of the public school system turning over his thinking to the DNC, but someone that age is just pathetic.
I didn't even tell him "Welcome to Jesusland"...
I was wondering the same thing. Also, how old is Dan Rather?
You have been witnessing a fit of a new [or, rather, newly described] disease - democratitis. As ladies and gentlemen of this forum are both experts and expert witnesses on it, one shall invite and encourage contributions to the full description of this ailment and of its possible treatments.
I enjoy hearing about embittered liberals.
You should have said "Welcome to The Bush Country: love it or leave it."
