Silent Generation

The Silent Generation has never had a president & now it looks like they never will. I have nothing against the Generation born 1928 - 1945 but John Kerry woulda been the 1st Silent Generation President so I'm kinda happy they don't have a president.

I've heard of the Lost Generation, but if there is anything characteristic of Kerry's "Generation" is sure wasn't silence.

..Silent Generation..

He's referring to a generational group as defined in Strauss and Howe's book The Fourth Turning

Let's hope that a president is never elected who was born 1973-1978. Those were awful years.

Dude, why do you have your girlfriend's whole name on your FR page? That may be unwise. Also, did you get a pension when you retired? I'm also a retired Dishwasher for the Pioneer's Cabin

Ya know... we've recently been inundated with "old trolls" (folks that have 1 month or so sign up dates, with really strange 'homepages', and even stranger first posts)

You're talking about me and i've never heard of my generation as being silent. It's a small generation in numbers being born durring the depression but for the most part very productive.
