Marinol

Anyone not satisfied with that is either playing political games, or they are outright drug users who want it legalized.

You don't know what you're talking about. Marinol is derived from something other than cannabis and isn't effective for what medical cannabis users use the pot for. It is extremely $$$$ expensive to boot. Stoners would like it probably, but then again we aren't talking about recreational drug users here.

Can you cite where the Constitution grants Congress and the Executive the power to interefere with this CA State law?

Two homos have a right to impale each other in the privacy of their own home and yet I don't have the right to sit down in front of the boob tube and smoke a doobie.

Why?

No one need be satisfied with someone else's opinion of what they should use in a free society.

And many who don't, and have never, used marijuana, want it re-legalized.

"Anyone not satisfied with that is either playing political games, or they are outright drug users who want it legalized."

And why is it any of your business if they do?
Seriously, you WOD-dummies never fail to see the big government tendencies inherent in your so-called "conservative hard-liner" approach to pot. Why do fools like you, when elected, abandon your promises to get government off the backs of the individual by wasting BILLIONS of dollars in taxpayers money annually trying to stamp out a plant with mild euphoric effects, a plant which is far, FAR less dangerous (and causes far, FAR fewer deaths each year) than the very-legal drug called Alcohol? That money would be better served in the pockets of the taxpayers themselves, helping to defend the homeland, or funding the war against Islamic terrorism.

Is it conservative to swell America's prisons with thousands of non-violent drug "offenders", once again costing the taxpayers who must then pay to feed and clothe these prisoners, and to build more prisons when the number of nonsensical drug arrests exeeds the number of available cells?

Does it make you feel like a big, tough guy to give a permanent record to decent, non-violent people just because of what plant they choose to put in their own bodies?

Your kind makes me sick.

I am saddened by all the "Freepers" that have failed to understand the basic Constitutional right of the State to regulate drugs... It is simply not a Federal issue...

Regardless...why do the healty so quickly oppose the treatment of the dying...when that treatment includes the use of cannabis? No one gave a hoot about Vioxx....

I am a "Real Freeper...." and that freedom includes the right to seek the most effective treatment for a dying loved one. It's so easy to make that judgement...until one watches a loved one in pain and puking until they die. Of course, in the end one must make certain they do not strangle on their own vomit..... The Marinol solution...give em another pill... Now that's just so appropriate for a digestive tract cancer patient!

Of course.... I must declare that I am NOT a Cannabis user so all you "freedom" lovers will not flame me.....but of course you will.... Bring it on....
