FRESNO, California (AP) -- Childhood friends who enlisted in the Marine Corps together and died together in Iraq were buried side by side.
Jeremiah Baro and Jared Hubbard, who played together, wrestled each other in high school and toughed it out together through boot camp, died November 4, after a roadside bomb exploded. They were in Iraq's Anbar province, where the military was preparing to attack the insurgent stronghold of Fallujah.

Prayer ping
Semper Fi, brothers in arms. God bless you both.
God bless both of them. Both died serving America and die together and will be friends forever in Heaven.
Every once in a while a story will run on MSM that gives you goosebumps...this one did it for me. As I write in my cozy home and know my children are safe....these soliders and their families are grieving their loss...God truly Bless them...
Their funeral was in the church that I used to run around in as a child when it was being built. I drive past the cemetery where they are buried when I come to to Fresno from Shaver Lake. All of these stories should hit close to home, but this specific one really does so for me.
God Bless their souls, and prayers for their families.
So sorry to read of the loss of these two to their families and their community.
Praying for the safety and well being of all in harm's way, and for their families.
i love this....and i thank you
Dammit.
The worst thing about this sort of war is that the good men and women lost in the fight are so much more honorable than the vermin they kill. Losing one of these is so much worse than a thousand of the cockroaches that they hope to stamp out.
Aggravating, it is.
Not just the cockroaches man, but all the idiots who want to flee to Canada on account of Bush getting reelected too.
Bump!
this is fantastic....beautiful...thanks for sharing!
God Bless these wonderful guys and God Bless America!
