"According to a Quinnipiac poll of New Yorkers, Clinton's approval rating has steadily risen from 38 percent on Feb. 14, 2001 to 61 percent on Sept. 14, 2004.
"She's not the caricature that people thought," Carroll said. "She's not a '60s lefty. She's not a loony leftist, and she works. She's a reasonably centrist liberal."
Carroll said Democrats who aspire to their party's nomination in 2008 would "either have to beat her or discourage her" from running."

As predicted... I wouldn't be surprised to see her run to the right of Joe Lieberman. The Left is so hungry for victory, they will forgive Her Highness just about anything, including abandoning their "sacred" liberal ideology.
I did and started to wonder how long it would be before Hillary started to speak with a Southern accent. I don't think the camo is going to stick to her. In order for her to truly change her image, the MSM would have to enjoy its monopoly. It no longer does.
But, the camo strategy is only 1/2 of Hillary's plan. Anyone noticed that the MSM is running story after story painting the Bush victory and Repubs as out of the "mainstream." The MSM is ressurecting its favorite villians, i.e. Newt Gingrich (AP Piece) and Jerry Falwell (Press) to accomplish this.
Two fold, try to move Hillary to the center. . try to move the Republicans to the right.
