What?, the French got mad at a terrorist attack on their civilians and retaliated?! I guess Chirac was not on the take in Africa.

Well, if you open up on civilian demonstrators with a 20mm cannon, what do you expect?

"hate media" on Thursday for fuelling the political violence in the troubled Ivory Coast and appealed to all parties for calm. Aren't these the same "hate media" who are fuelling the political violence in the troubled Iraq?

Now maybe they have a taste of "hate media" which we're getting from the entire world. If you can't suck it up on the Ivory Coast, I'd hate to see what you'd do in our positions.

Kofi, if I was you I'd be careful walking among black Africans, you don't have the best PR with them.... considering, one genocide you watched take place, and now your working on another in Sudan. Dunno, just a guess but the Ivory Coast might think your shadow will fall on them next.

I find Free Republic people to be some of the most civilized and intelligent commentators around.
Kofi Annan would probably label Free Republic as a hate site.
The depths of some people's anger and conflict is shown by who they lash out at and how often they do it.
