Wishing all US Military Veterans a great Veterans Day. If you have any pictures of yourself during your days in the military, please post.
If you care to, state your unit and MOS.
If I was at work, I'd be wearing a red poppy. (I'm now retired.)
Just to be clear, that was me some years ago, like way, way back in the 90s.

"Veterans Day is set aside to remember every man and woman who has taken up arms to defend our country. We honor every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine and Coast Guardsman who gave some of the best years of their lives to the service of the United States and stood ready to give life itself on our behalf. Twenty-five million military veterans walk among us. And on this day, our nation thanks them all." President Bush

USS Greenling (SSN-614)
USS Los Angeles (SSN-688)

Here's a photo I took from the deck of the USS Howard W. Gilmore (AS-16) at La Maddalena, Sardinia in August 1977. It shows the USS Los Angeles (SSN-688) moored outboard of the USS Nautilus (SSN-571). At the time the LA was the Navy's newest attack boat on it's first Med cruise and the Nautilus was the oldest and on it's last.
