Once the people of Europe decide to deal with the Islamic threat within their borders, I think even the most gung-ho of FReepers will be shocked at their ruthlessness.
I don't agree. In 1939, it was easy to see who the enemy was. That was a first generation invasion. Germans didn't belong in France and that was that.
Europe is in its third generation of muslim immigration. its going to be devilishly hard to tell who the enemy is. Not to mention that aside from hunting equipment, few are armed but you can guarantee that the islamics are going to be well armed. they'll have the best arms that oil money can buy.
I think the analogy with 1939 Germany is simplistic at best.

The French have already surrendered along with the French part of Belgium. The UK is close as they allow muslims to flood in. Sweden also may go muslim as muslims control the 3rd largest city.
The Western Europeans face a choice. It will be interesting to see if the Dutch fight it out. I hope they do. Eastern Europe does not want to be Muslim and the Poles saved Western Europe from Islam in 1683.

I actually haven't read 1985 - I think it's been out of print for a number of years? I don't think I've never seen it on a bookstore shelf, but I know that's no excuse what with all the sellers offering used copies online ;-)
It's interesting to note that despite what people think, the countries you mentioned have pretty small Muslim populations. According to islamicweb.com, whose numbers are probably overblown for propaganda purposes, 2.7% of England's population is Muslim, 7% for France, 3.6% for Sweden and 4% for Belgium.
Let's not forget that these Muslim groups like CAIR consistently fudge the numbers on the number of Muslims in certan countries. CAIR claims to represent the 10 million Arabs in this country, but they leave out the fact that of that 10 million a very large percentage are actually Christian Arabs. Jacksonville, for example, has a significant Christian Arab population that's been in the US for a century or so.
When Muslims groups say they are taking over the West, you need to take what they say with a grain of salt.

Solution : Encourage immigration from non-muslim countries like India, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand etc - viz people who integrate easily and would act as an effective counter to the Muslims.
Now, how can we do something effective about it?

Past time for you to rethink your statement.
I don't know why the author copped out at the end by saying its possible that muslims in America will do the same as their bloody brethren have done all over the world.
They will kill, rape and murder American "infidels"just like any other. Their so-called holy book and prophet demand it and as soon as they gain the necessary strength and numbers, the killings will commence right here in the good ole USA!

You really need to understand the context for that decision. First of all, the church receives state funding in most countries in Europe. One can chose to pay €50 each month from your paycheck to the church tax if you want (can also opt out).
The separation is not enshrined in the constitutions like in the US.
In France, all mosques are getting their support from Muslim organizations. Unfortuantely, the ones that seem to have the most money are the most extreme (Saudis often).
The idea is to build moderae mosques with moderate imams trained in France to attract the masses. It would then be easier to isolate and keep a close eye on (or deport)the extremists.
Thus, it is a very sensible proposal. Perhaps not as sensible as mass deportation, but maybe someday.
i was MISUSU21. You are wrong. In france there is no establishment of religion, because of something called the French Revolution.
They integrated so well into european societiy, because they held jewish mores which are the forefathers of ours(chirstian).
