Islamic website statement threatens terror attack in Japan
Japan Today ^ | Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 07:10 JST

CAIRO — A statement threatening terrorist attacks on Japan and accusing it of being a U.S. ally was posted Wednesday on an Islamic website that had earlier carried a statement by the murderers of a Japanese hostage in Iraq.

The latest statement, which was not signed, was addressed to "the leaders of Japan" and accused Japan of allying with the United States, "which destroyed and caused bloodshed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki." "Even the wide oceans cannot protect you all. Your people will for sure be shaken," the statement said. (Kyodo News)

Doesn't seem too bright to threaten Japan. They would think nothing of expelling every single Muslim who works there or lives there (none can be citizens, not even Koreans can). Asians don't have the same civil liberties sensibilities as does the West.

Dear Been Hidden, Its' not wise to awaken/"Piss-off" the Japanese. They (the Samurai) are renown for their skill with swords and they really don't like, to being pushed around (a loss of face)...

Quite the drama queens, aren't they?
They're actually declaring war on Japan.

this may or may not be an idle threat. nonetheless, japan being more monolithic than the united states would make for a more difficult target.

"The Muslims are picking another fight."
Yes they continue to dig them selves deeper into the sands.
They by design, seem to love to ruin any chance at happiness and the pursuit of freedom they could have.
But perhaps as more and more of them get connected with western ideas, they will come around.
To much wine and to many posts to follow tonight I am calling it a night. Sleep well.

Thx it was a good read, the fight is now on Holland, hopefully not alone. But the EU has been disturbingly silent this past week. With reprisals by the populace and now, a crack down by security, the islamofascist obviously do not respect the Danes, They'll try to exact revenge on a grand scale if they aren't taken seriously. I wish the Danes well. I hope they take this seriously.

I've been following Japanese culture for a while now, so the idea of terrorists threatening them is amusing. Way back when several Japanese hostages in Iraq were let free, the Japanese people became mad. At the hostages. For making Japan look weak. The state department made the hostages pay the government back for the cost of the plane tickets home. They've been nuked twice already, it's going to take some work to scare Japan.

Luckily for the terrorists, Japan's constitution (well, the one we gave them) is very strict on what Japan can do with their military. I don't know if they can amend it (I think they can), but if the terrorists manage to get them to do it, they'll have another Israel to deal with, one with an Arab population of about zero. They'd probably wind up invading North Korea in the process.

Oh well, idiot muslims are probably just checking off a list of countries to threaten. Too bad, could be fun.

Anyways, China's not going to invade Japan, they have an economy to worry about these days. They were probably just testing ways to get spies in and out. North Korea's the one to look out for, they have nothing to lose (except a few nukes).

Unfortunately, most Islamists seem to define their piety by the amount of suffering they can endure. It's a shame.

Hey Frank, in all seriousness, I believe the exertion of unimaginable force for the islamic world to watch is the only way the force the Islam people to police their radicals. They must fear us 10000 times more than asZaquari. We need to take a city like Filuja and destroy it in full view of the world, without apology. Make Muslims go after asZaquari because his actions result in the decimation of another 200000 muslims. That will deter. The marines, and they are great, cannot in an instant screw up their minds like a 100 megaton thermonuclear detonation. Be sure it is captured on film. Tell the rest of citizens that if anymore westerners are beheaded another mushroom cloud will again be forming the sillouette on their sky. They will clean up their own mess. I hate to kill so many innocent Iraqis but I see no other way. This conventional approach is goint to get more American soldiers killed. We need to settle this in a moment of time.

And how do we know that the terrorists HAVEN'T been working with N. Korea, already? I agree that they are the ones to watch and possibly, biding their time.
