On our pilots message board, some twit posted that people with college degrees voted for Kerry 3-1, proving how stupid the Red Staters are..
I'd rather have common sense then.
Must've been based on a really reliable EXIT POLL
Ever heard the expression, "Educated beyond their intelligence"?
Interesting. Now how do they know this? A poll taken at the exit?
That's as annoying as a lib I know who says people who like his unfunny, anti-Bush comic all have high i.q. rates. My husband has a high i.q. and still thought this lib comic was stupid. He voted for Bush, too. Then again, he doesn't have a college degree. His mommy didn't put him through college, like many of the "elites" parents did.
I saw some stats that said people with less than a high school diploma and those with graduate degrees (elites ) voted for Kerry. Both groups have a lot of entitlement folks.
Actually the Washington Times reported the other day that Bush got the majority of people with some college and college degrees. Skerry got the people with no High School Diploma and Advanced degrees.
I beleive on Monday, C-Span ran a symposium from the Democrat Leadership Council(the so-called "moderate" democrats) and the leader of that group(Bruce Reed) stated that democrats in educational terms only got vast majorities in two groups, high school drop outs and those with post-graduate degrees(i.e the DUmbist of the DUmbist).

According to Newsweek: of College grads, 51% supported Bush, 47% Kerry.
High school grads 51/48 Bush
Kerry only won with High School dropouts- 50/49
November 15, 2004 edition.
Clown college and beauty school don't count.
If Red Staters are so stupid, how come they managed to pick the candidate with the higher IQ?
Nah, it just proves the point that some of those with a college degree should demand their money back....
A dubious assertion. As a matter of fact, people are more likely to vote Republican with increasing education, until they acquire a Ph.D. Ph.Ds are considerably more likely to vote Democrat. I am not sure why, but I could speculate.
Seldom reported - people voted by household income. Less than $30K/yr Dem, >75K/yr Rep - middle split. I forget exact %s. With all the demographics gone over and over, this is the actually the most reliable gross number.
Married white males >70% for Bush.
Not so hard to understand given tax/income redistribution preferences of parties.
Frankly it is surprising to me how little some of these college degreed Dems must make.
