Why does MSNBC blur the faces of terrorists?
Posted on 11/09/2004 9:24:37 PM PST by Serious Capitalist
I was probably the only person watching Keith Olberman on MSNBC and his "Countdown" Show tonight- I must ask- why whenever they show pictures of insurgents with AK-47's or RPG's their faces are blurred- like they are in the witness protection program??? Why can't we see the evil faces of these terrorists- why is MSNBC protecting people that seek to murder our troops?

The Imam lied about the 72 virgins thing -- it's really a 72-year-old virgin whose idea of paradise is to just keep kicking Mohammad in the groin.

LOL! After watching Bommer's late, great FR movie, "When The Man Comes Around", I shall forever think of all 72 of the virgins being Helen Thomas.

Um, you forgot the quotation marks: "terrorists"
To: Serious Capitalist
I have to guess that the terrorists in many cases have agreed to work with the network to spread anti-Bush propaganda.
My guess is that the trade-off for close-up shots isthey have to protect the terrorists identities.

Why do they blur the terrorist faces?
1).....This is their own version of "fair and balanced".
2).....Juror number 9 may fall in love with one of them.

Are they blurring all the faces or just those that we have in custody?
If they are in our custody it goes against the Geneva Convention to photograph prisoners

Wouldn't surprise me.

Well we're compassionate and don't want to show the faces of innocent victims of GWB's War???
To: Serious Capitalist
For the same reason they show three miscreats with a BM-11 anti-tank gun getting ready to fire, and do nothing to warn American forces. They are rooting for the terrorists.
