Yes.
But I have a feeling that Rudy Guiliani is on the top of the list.

I think Rudy is no where near the top of that list.

If he is the best qualified candidate, hire him. But, don't expect to get any "brownie points" from the media---they will immediately portray him as an Uncle Tom and a traitor to his race.

"if he gets it expect him to be chastized and hated by African Americans.

If there isnt anything blacks hate more its successfull ones..."

So preposterous...and so true. Good for him if he gets it.

I think Rudy would be a fantastic AG, but I think his talents would be better used in derailing the Shrill's quest for President in 2008 by stomping her in 2006.*~*

I don't know, he was an ENORMOUS help in the campaign and he is the most popular Republican in the country other than Bush. His main drawback is abortion. I believe that with the right justices and the right case, that abortion will become an issue for the individual states (as it should be). I know this is a stretch, but if Roe v. Wade could be overturned in the next few years, Guiliani could run for President and the abortion question would be moot.

I think the Republicans should "reward" Ed Koch for his efforts to re-elect Bush and back him for the Democratic nomination against Hitlery in 2006.

I'm betting Condi Rice will replace Powell at the State Dept. The NAACP and other African American organizations tied to the Democrat's plantation should take notice as to which party has a better record of placing African Americans in positions of power.

If he's Bush's favorite, he's ok in my book.

Abortion isnt going anywhere -- the fight now is to just limit it to legal and safe instead of Abortion on demand...

He was a Deputy AG so should be well qualified. Qualified...and Bush likes him so he's fine with me. Skin pigmentation is not a factor.

With the right case it can win, as long as O'Conner retires and can be replaced with a pro-life justice. Kennedy was ready to overturn Roe ten years ago, but O'Conner wouldn't sign on so the matter was shelved.

I was incorrect, it was Kennedy who wouldn't vote to overturn. He was persuaded by O'Conner and Souter.

Nope. He's conservative, so he can't be black. A Tom maybe, but definitely not black. I'm betting less than 8 hours after he is announced we will hear this crap from the dems.

Rudy is going to run for the US Senate in 2006 against Hillary.
