Well, well, well. It doesn't sound so good for those 155,000 provisional ballots in Ohio, does it?

In two cases, the same individual tried to vote three times: early, absentee and on Election Day

These two people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Stuff like this should be on Greta's show, not the Scott Peterson trial.

Well, the article says nothing about which side the fraud was helping, so I guess we can draw our own conclusions based on the normal liberal bias to the media, eh?

unsurprising. Bill Richardson had to come up with those 20,000 last second votes somewhere, right?

Additional information to contemplate.

Results from the NM Legislative Information Technology Oversight Committee 11/08/2004

Background: Approximately 18 months ago we who sit on the Committee requested that an intrusion test be completed to determine vulnerabilities to our state IT systems. Numerous deficiencies were identified and many corrective recommendations were made.

Yesterday’s meeting: The former Deputy of the State Office of Chief Information Officer who has since moved over to the State Home Land Security Office and who took his responsibilities for network security with him testified before the committee. When asked if there were any IT systems in State Agencies that were vulnerable to outside attack and manipulation he would only answer “Yes”. When asked which Agencies were vulnerable he replied that as the meeting was an open public meeting he could not answer, as it would expose the state. When asked if the recommended corrective actions had been implemented he said that it was unknown as no further intrusion testing had been conducted but that it appeared that the recommendations had not been implemented. When asked if the Secretary of State (SOS) systems had been a one of the subjects of the original intrusion testing he indicated that it had. He refused to answer if the SOS had implemented the recommended security changes. When asked if the SOS systems were being monitored, he indicated that they were and that monitoring of the SOS systems started three weeks ago.

Result: The Information Technology Oversight Committee will hold an unscheduled closed executive meeting in December so that members of the Legislature can find out just how pervasive the lack of security is in reference to the state’s IT systems and networks. Additionally, indication is that the SOS froze out members of the Office of the Chief Information Officer who could have helped secure the SOS voter IT systems. Insisting only she and the vendor of the IT system work on the problem. All indications are that the problems at the SOS have not been resolved and therefore that is way the Office of the Chief Information Officer began monitoring the SOS systems. Making matters worse is that the SOS is not sharing what she knows about her system or is allowing any information to be released to other state agencies as to the security of her systems.

It is unknown if the SOS systems have been compromised, however it does appear that the possibility exist.

I'm not familiar with the politics in Ohio but it comes as no surprise to find voter fraud in New Mexico. Bill Richardson is an anti-american zealot who would do anything to secure democrat control of the Government - including ignoring the majority of NM constituency who voted for Bush.

Congress needs to pass a law that makes voter fraud a Class One Felony.

Right now it is a Class Five Felony, and it used to be just a Misdemeanor.

Vote fraud is treason---it should be prosecuted as such.

Now you know why that slimball Eric Holder said on Fox before the election that "if ALL the ballots are counted in Ohio, John Kerry will win."

It was because they knew ahead of time how many ballots they had already cast threw absentee and provincal!

This wouldn't happen in Detroit. The democrats who count the ballots would have signed different names to each provisional ballot and corrected the ones that weren't for Kerry.

Link to details on this mornings earlier thread from the ABQJournal:

Glad to see it's finally making national headlines. Every time the NM GOP legislators try to make showing an ID for registering and voting part of our election code, the Rats yell "intimidation". One way or another, I expect something to be done to stop this crap, especially that we have the votes in Congress to pass national voting standards.

That really doesn't surprise me - didn't Soros say the Dems would "do anything" to unseat GWB?

The perpetrators should be found and prosecuted.

As long as these people know that they are safe from paying any penalty, they will become more and more flagrant in their corrupt activities.

That's one of the major purposes of punishment: to deter future crimes. Bush has to pass the word down that he is serious about cleaning up the election process.

"observers turned up 53 instances of individuals voting more than once. They also found four voters who were dead and dozens of felons attempting to vote. In two cases, the same individual tried to vote three times: early, absentee and on Election Day."

The Democrats will try to turn their own fraud around to attempt to invalidate the election. They will fail, and they incur some risk if the trail of the fraud leads back to them.
