At least 10 people involved... from the helicopter shot you can see people through the windows of the top floor of the building. Standing around...
Now back to the Peterson case.

Their demands, as near as I can tell, boil down to "Yo quiero Taco Bell!"

Report: Hostage Situation at Mexican Consulate, L.A.

|
LOS ANGELES
A hostage situation was underway Tuesday at the Mexican Consulate near downtown, police said.

The incident began unfolding about 8:30 a.m. with at least one suspect starting the hostage situation, Sandoval said.
A portion of the area was evacuated, she said.
A telephone call to the Mexican consulate's press office was not immediately returned.
No further details were immediately available.

I cannot believe the obtuse publicity this case is receiving. People are killed every day. WTF is with all this celibrity? Prior to her disappearance, no one knew who Laci Peterson was except her family and friends. While tragic, turning this into the next OJ is just stupid on the media's part.
Meanwhile we ignore a real story about a hostage situation in a consulate, and a major initiative in the war on terror.
