Mexico should raise the flag and declare victory. What do they need with a consulate, for heaven's sake. It's not like California is part of a foreign country anymore. They invaded and conquered without firing a shot.

True, that is their origin, but they now accept all Central Americans into the gang.

I'm just copying and pastin'. This is the final stat I didn't include in my above post:

"Research suggests that injury related deaths, including homicide and suicide, account for approximately one-third of all maternal mortality cases, while medical reasons make up the rest. But, homicide is the leading cause of death overall for pregnant women, followed by cancer, acute and chronic respiratory conditions, motor vehicle collisions and drug overdose, peripartum and postpartum cardiomyopthy, and suicide."

From: Nannini, A., Weiss, J., Goldstein, R., & Fogerty, S., (2002). Pregnancy-Associated Mortality at the End of the Twentieth Century: Massachusetts, 1990 – 1999. Journal of the American Medical Women’s Association, Vol. 57, No. 23, Summer 2002.

I have yet to figure out the mainstreams' fascination with the Peterson murder.

It's not hard. He probably killed her, and he'll probably get away with it.

That doesn't happen every day.

Witnesses said the building was very crowded with people getting Matricula cards, and getting permission to go back to Mexico for the holidays.

Incident started on 4th floor....reporter indicated individual would have passed through security.

official press conference with Mayor Hahn and police chief - treating this as a crime in progress not as terrorist threat. They do not believe the suspect and the hostage were know to each other...motive unknown.

I am not sure...

An LAPD Rampart Division Foot Beat Sergeant took him out with a headshot while holding the hostage at gunpoint.
