Yes, I've been playing in the FReeper Album and FReeper profile pages again. :) Thank you all for making today's thread prettier and funner. I can't decide which is my favorite gown, but I'm leaning towards four of them. ALL of you look absolutely stunning!

Hope For Worriers

Read: Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. —Psalm 23:1

Bible In One Year: Jeremiah 46-47; Hebrews 6

Everyone worries occasionally, but I was once a "professional worrier." My daily preoccupation was mulling over my worries, one by one.

Then one day I had to face an uncomfortable medical test, and I was frantic with fear. Finally I decided that during the test I would focus on the first five words of Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd." This exercise in meditation not only calmed me, but I gained several fresh insights. Later, as I slowly meditated through the entire psalm, the Lord gave me more insights. Eventually I was able to share at conferences what the Lord had taught me.

If you're a worrier, there's hope for you too! Rick Warren, author of The Purpose-Driven Life, wrote: "When you think about a problem over and over in your mind, that's called worry. When you think about God's Word over and over in your mind, that's meditation. If you know how to worry, you already know how to meditate!"

The more we meditate on God's Word, the less we need to worry. In Psalm 23, David meditated on his great Shepherd instead of worrying. Later, God chose him to be the shepherd of His people (Psalm 78:70-72). God uses those who can honestly say, "The Lord is my shepherd." —Joanie Yoder

When fear and worry test your faith
And anxious thoughts assail,
Remember God is in control
And He will never fail. —Sper

The more we think about God's Word, the less we'll think about our worries.

Hi Billie, we sure do have a lot beautiful female FReepers. But the best thing about them is that, be eye candy, they are well endowed with brains.

A guy thread?

Holy smokes.

I like guy threads ... but, the threads our gals are wearing ... whoa ... I especially like gal threads.

My goodness.

Are me and Mr. Wolf a coupla lucky cusses, to be in such company, or what?

Miss Billie, you've started my morning off with a brief cardiac arrest, but I've recovered quickly and expect to make it through the rest of the day.

As LadyX says, you have outdone yourself.

And, as MEG33 says, GOP women are beautiful ... it's cuz they radiate light and see the sunrise side of Life.

Still tremblin' like Barney Fife on his first date with Thelma Lou ... think I need another cup of coffee ... better sit down a'fore I faint.

Wishing our Hostesses, our Mayor and all the Finest guys and dolls a very fine day!!!

Wooohooo!
I got my dancin slippers all polished and ready to go. I've had to bribe Louie and jw to allow a dance with these lovely ladies.
You might notice that there are two right shoes - I don't have any LEFT leanings. :)

What a fun post! Billie, you've done a superb job dressing our beautiful FReeper women in exquisite gowns for the Inaugural Ball. And wolfie and the fox are in Fine form, as always, with lovelies on each arm (leg? paw?).

Just look at you, Amy! WooHoo! Now I must find something snazzy to wear to the Ball. You and Marissa are going to make me look like the frumpy stepsister. LOL.

(Billie, I am posting the thread tomorrow and there is no way I can top this! So, I guess I will just open the doors and invite everyone in, or maybe we can all just stay and play here.) :-)

This is so funny. I didn't expect to see my picture here. This was a really run idea. You all are so creative here. I don't know what I'm wearing to the ball yet. Probably a parka since it will be so cold that time of year.
