Kenneth Wilk, a homosexual and former leader of the Log Cabin Republicans in Houston, has been arrested in Florida for killing a sheriff who came to serve a search warrant on him at his home.
Wilk's boyfriend had been arrested by police in July for transmission of child pornagraphy and for sex with minors. In addition, Wilk was arrested in 2001 for retaliation against a witness in a previous arrest of his boyfriend. He also threatened to kill an undercover policeman in an online chat room.
In his AOL profile, Wilk described himself as an "exposer of Florida Police Undercover Cops," and said he enjoys various sports, including "hunting cops."
According to a friend of Wilk, "[Wilk] resented cops posing as children or underage teens on the Internet. He had a vendetta out for those cops because they had put a sting on his lover and put him in jail. He felt like they were out to ring us up simply becauuse we're gay."
I see the Arlen Specter Republicans have lost it along with their Democrat buddies.
Yet another fine example of why the Log Cabin "Republicans" aren't.

It always reminds me of a half-remembered joke I heard when I was like 11 that had a line that went "how far is the Old Log Inn?"
If anyone needed any additional proof that the "Log Cabin Republicans" were nothing but a Trojan Horse (unfortunate term, that) designed to sever the support of the social conservatives from the Republican Party.
And their true nature is being revealed for all to see.
