This article made its way to my local newspaper in PA.
I guess these liberals who claim to be religious need to check out some of the parts of the gospels that the cult churches they attend have managed to keep glued together.
The leaders of their cold pews have managed to turn their religion into a 1/2 hour of "I'm ok, you're ok" now go home and do whatever you need to feel good and call that your religion.
Religion, true religion changes you and as a result it eventually changes those around you. That is the heart of evangelism.
Matthew 5:10-12
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven...."
The bible tells us to spread the good news. I guess that's disrepectful. Jesus might disagree.

They are fairly pushy about their beliefs on baby murder and buggery.
Kids say lousy, mean-spirited thing. The words of a kid on the playground are not an accurate reflection of the conservative or Christian standpoint on homosexuality. Charity toward persons does not mean affirmation of sinful or immoral behavior. Love the sinner and hate the sin is what Christians are called to do. Embrace chastity is what those with same sex attraction or anyone outside of marriage (between a man and a woman) are called to do.

How can you be a Christian and believe that it is not okay to use the death penalty on heinous criminals but it is acceptable to use the death penalty on an innocent child?
If they did, they would have to admit to their true beliefs.

Whole massive amounts of religious liberals need to learn that there REALLY IS A GOD and He really does expect obedience to His Word and His Voice/Spirit.
A lot of liberals have more emotion over a football touchdown than they ever have had about God. Religion for them is another social club.

She is another example of an out-of-touch press person, and this one even lives in the deep South. They just do not understand Christianity. I would be interested in how much money she gave to her local church, how often she attends, how often she reads the Bible, and if her church actually preaches the gospel. Liberals are the people who ocassionally TALK about their faith, but do not practice it. Hypocrite!
No one is more arrogant, bigoted and evangelical about their beliefs than a Liberal. But religion they keep to themselves.
