If someone looked hard enough, they would ewven find that the pentagon had/has a plan that includes nuking Washington D.C.!

THere is a plan/scenario written up for almost every conceivable action/reaction to the USA security.

The headline probably should say "Has" instead of "Had".

My old First Sergeant used to say "Prior planning, prevents piss poor performance". We should always plan for the worst, and hope for the best.

There is no way Clinton would have preempted a nuclear strike on N. Korea. Looks like Clinton is trying to spin his legacy again before he opens his library.

"The revelation followed claims by a South Korean lawmaker that the U.S. drew up plans to launch preemptive strikes on key targets in North Korea in 1994."

This is about as cryptic as it gets.

Who in the US government developed the plan in 1994. That was the year that Clinton, Carter and Richardson adopted N.Korea from Boris of Russia, and then gave N. Korea nuclear.

Clinton had a two wars at the same time plan, who would have ever thought.

Yet just this past year Clinton said that all N.Korea wanted was 'respect'.

Exactly! As noted, the Pentagon draws up war plans for all kinds of scenarios.

Oh, God. The Korea Times newspaper, (whatever and where ever they are) -- are reporting the onset of an anxiety attack.

Oh, I am so tired of this. We have plans to nuke Toronto, for cryin out loud. The Pentagon would be derelict in it's duty if we did not.

Plans are nothing new, steplock:

Back in the late 1970s a Brigadier General Scwartzkoph. Fresh from the War College in Carlyle, PA. Wrote a paper reagrding possible insurgency in and around Kuwait. The paper went up to the Pentagon, where it was war-gamed. The results looked promising. So a rough battle plan was made.

Lo, and behold. Years later saddam Hussein decided to roll tanks into Kuwait. Schwartzkoph's plan was pulled up, dusted off. Computer war-gamed while the balloon went up and troops flew and tanks sailed across the Atlantic.

Nuke North Korea?... Dig deeper. I'm sure it was one of the first war plans developed for General Curtis Lemay's SAC!

Jack.

Looks like Clinton is trying to spin his legacy again before he opens his library.

Slick's library is merely a porn shop with some Larry Flynt reading material.

If this is about Clinton, "Nuke Korea" are code words for "boink Monica."

This is such a patently obvious attempt to shore up the " we can also be tough on terrorists " bona fides of the Democrats.
It's the opening salvo in the attempted rehabilitation of the wussy Democrats and to lay the ground work for Hillary in 08.
I'm sure before long, the lap dogs in the media will report how it was actually Hillary who nudged Bill to make war plans for North Korea.
We Red Staters ( when we are not out stirring the still and painting the outhouse ) know that the Pentagon has contingency plans for every eventuality and this is not news to us.
Yawn..
