We must make it perfectly clear to Rick Santorum that if he lets Specter chair the judiciary committee, we WILL NOT SUPPORT HIM in 2006 for Senate. Instead, we will support Pat Toomey.
We must also make it perfectly clear to Bill Frist that if he does not block Specter Chairmanship, he might as well not even enter the 2008 primaries.
Both of these men hold the power over Specter and we must threaten to boycott their futures if they ignore their base.
Insinuation hell, a plain statement of fact "airman".
For those unfamiliar with the rigors our "airmen" face in Qatar, you can go hours without being able to find an ice cold soft drink.
Are you saying that I don't care about my Wife being in danger? You're a real asshole.
No, that's what you're trying to insinuate I'm saying. Actually I applaud your wife for at least having the courage in your family...even if her whining about the Army is as pathetic as your own. Seems the both of you have the real problem, but then again that's not uncommon with those who are jealous of the professionals.
No? Then what the hell does this mean:
"Insinuation hell, a plain statement of fact "airman"."
Betters my ass. Ever heard of inter-service rivalry?
The comments you were making "airman", about our brave soldiers in combat who are your military betters, was not inter-service rivalry. They were the ignorant comments of a fool.
Did I EVER say anything about combat? Absolutely not? I said:
1. The Marine Corps is much more capable than the Army
2. The Army sh*ts in its troops sometimes for no good reason ("morale supression")
3. The Air Force and Marines are better at thinking "on the move" than the Army
4. The AF and Marines are more efficient than the Army
There is far too much bureaucracy in the Army compared to other services, even you have to admit that.
Name one comment I made about soldiers in combat. Maybe the only thing CLOSE that I may have said is that the Marines are better. And that's because I think they are.
"Sounds like faux Army Pride to me. That's one of the big differences between the Army and the Marine Corps. The Marine Corps has comraderie while the Army has sh*tting on one another."
It's a good thing you're only an "airman". I'd loose all faith in the Air Force if you were indicative of anyone with experience or responsibility.
He is an excellent example of how the Air Force has suffered from the loss of warrant officers. It appears the NCO's aren't doing a very good job. I'd have that straightened out in about 90 seconds.
So you think the Army is more capable than the Marines???
I don't think you need to mount any kind of boycott campaign. Things will take care of themselves. If the Republicans, with the kind of majority that they have now, cannot put conservative judges in place, for whatever reason, they won't get the turnout they need at the polls in subsequent elections. It's just a fact of life. I know I won't be voting. I can't support the Democrats because they are destroying the country. And if I see liberal, or so-called "centrist", judges being appointed now, I won't be able to support Republicans either, because they would then be willing accomplices of the Democrats. So it will just kind of take care of itself.
"He is an excellent example of how the Air Force has suffered from the loss of warrant officers. It appears the NCO's aren't doing a very good job. I'd have that straightened out in about 90 seconds."
-- For what, saying that the Marines are more capable than the Army, or that the Army sh*ts in its troops even when unnecessary? Or that the Army is very inefficient?
Can you refute a single one of those arguments? Even if you could, you probably wouldn't. You'd probably just call me a stupid "airman". Oh, and "airman" corresponds to service, like soldier, or marine, or sailor.
It doesn't hurt for them to hear it.
I don't mind educated you some more Sparky, someone sure needs to. First, you need to look at the actual purposes of both organizations. I know, they "look" alike to you but they're very different in nature and mission.
The Corps mission is to take strategic strong points regardless of expense, a mission that they are tremendously successful at.
On the other hand the Army is intended to find the more long term war, not individual battles, in which force preservation is an critical element and for which the Corps is not as suitable (in training or doctrine).
Both services are very proficient at their jobs, a distinction I didn't expect an "airman" of your nature to comprehend.
Nope... sorry you lose me on that one. I will strongly support Rick Santorum. Let's not let power go to our heads here sport.
God go with them and our Iraqi allies.
No 'effin way. We WILL support Santorum. End of discussion.
If far right social conservatives actually work to undermine Santorum, then the Republicans never take them seriously again. The Party would be better appealing to moderates.
