Sorry about the vanity, but this is a must read for conservatives.
On the McLaughlin Group this weekend, Lawrence O’Donnell actually stated that the Red states were “welfare” and that the Blue states paid for the Red states. He further urged the Blue states to secede from the Red states. And he was quite serious. In the past few weeks O’Donnell has had foaming-at-the-mouth mental breakdowns, especially on MSNBC, but when he made his comments on the McLaughlin Group, he was quite calm and collected.
First, are these the people to whom Bush is “required” to reach out to?
Second, as McLaughlin would say, “Bye, bye!”
Not sure where O'Dumbel got his facts, but could he be looking at the percapta govt income vs. percapita govt spending? If so, then such things as defense spending to keep his blue state @$$ safe he has classified as "welfare".
Hate to break to this to you Larry but there are no blue "states", just blue "cities".
Lol.....the DUmmies have latched on to this idea. They're itchin' for a fight and now want to learn about firearms for the Civil War they imagine to be coming. Funny stuff.
Those of us in the People's Republic of CA know very well what a welfare state is, too!

This is a running concept on DU that Blue states "support" Red States and they should cut off funding.
Other nutty ideas on DU:
1. The election was stolen.
2. Bush, Cheny will be impeached, indicted.
3. Blue states should secede.
4. Conservative media must be outlawed.
5. The Dems must move further left.
6. Cut off all contact with Republican relatives.
7. Bush and Rove are gay.
But the most popular is that the election was stolen. Many, many threads on this.
My thoughts exactly. Why can't we arrest these SOB's like he and Moore and Soros and try them for sedition? When they're convicted we can strip them of their citizenship and deport their worthless butts.

They would lose big time. Leftist in this country are way behind the "private ownership of firearms" curve.

Funny thing is, the guy used to present a decdent argument. I may have most often disagreed with him, but at least he seemed mentally stable. As someone else has pointed out, O'Donnell has apparently experienced the same mental breakdown that Gore experienced - and which has gone untreated - a couple of years ago.
