Now that President Bush has won reelection, maybe he'll feel secure enough to restore the First Lady of the Press to her front-row seat.
"No," predicted Helen Thomas on Friday when she keynoted the 9th Annual WomenVenture Conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center. "He's still afraid of me. He can't take my questions. Mine are very simple."
When I asked her how it feels to be the scariest little old lady in America, as far as W. is concerned, she said, "I don't feel anything but sorry for him, if he can't take a tough question. He's the president of the United States."

The old bat is insane. It's amusing to watch though because she doesn't understand her irrelevance in the new order of things regarding news and fact gathering.

I think I heard Hellen on election night. She said something like:
"Its all going down the drain"

As I have read down through these comments my heart is breaking at the absolute cruelty in all of your remarks over something this woman has no control over, and that is her appearance. It is frightening to me to think that you are all thinking these kinds of remarks are worthy of posting and worse -- that your posts are funny. They aren't funny. They are treacherous. It would be one thing to criticize Helen Thomas for things she has said or done -- things she had control over, things that were a matter of personal choice on her part. But to slay this woman for her appearance seems to me cruel beyond belief. She can't HELP how she was born.

"She is extremely anti-semetic. Her parents were Lebanese immigrants and she looks very Arabic up close"
That would explain a lot.
Yet another terrorist loving, hate-filled Arab.
And as ugly as sin too.
No surprise there.

"Don't get me started," said Thomas, who lightened up after she had her say about what the Supreme Court will look like if Bush gets to make three appointmentsWhy the writer, "CJ", failed to expound on this I do not know. But I would love to hear Helen's rant on this subject, just because I like to laugh and smile.
