Now that President Bush has won reelection, maybe he'll feel secure enough to restore the First Lady of the Press to her front-row seat.
"No," predicted Helen Thomas on Friday when she keynoted the 9th Annual WomenVenture Conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center. "He's still afraid of me. He can't take my questions. Mine are very simple."
When I asked her how it feels to be the scariest little old lady in America, as far as W. is concerned, she said, "I don't feel anything but sorry for him, if he can't take a tough question. He's the president of the United States."

Just too funny. Other paragaphs have her going on about "illegal war", "killed thousands", "Bush lied", etc., blah, blah, blah. These people have reaaaaly lost it.

The scariest thing about Helen Thomas is that this is how she looks AFTER 14 plastic surgeries.

This nonsense about "illegal war" used to really make me mad, now I just feel vaguely amused by the sheer idiocy of it. But I'm feeling more laid-back about a lot of things since Tuesday-Wednesday...

Bush is just trying to spare her from undue embarrassment. He is a kind and thoughtful man.

Can't blame him for being scared of such an objective, unbiased serious journalist Helen. You are just too inspiring and too smart for him. Go back to your kneepads and follow Bubba around. Maybe you'll get lucky and he will get desperate enough to turn to an older woman now.

I hope she leaves her body to science, so they can try to find out just what the hell went wrong.

She's mistaking his restaint for fear, his kindness for weakness. She's like a lot of other libs, in that respect.
Liberals are nuts, they absolutely do not understand it when they aren't squished like the bugs they are. They mistake the lack of punishment for license.
Best they destroy themselves.
