May be its an ambitious project. But since Free Republic is in California, we should try our darndest best to make California a red state so that by 2008, we got more electoral votes to start with.

(1) First let's make the legislature conservative on the next election - 2006.

(2) We should convince the Christians and Catholics that their only hope for a moral culture is getting rid of the liberals in the legislature. It will be hard because you have the unions to contend with. But with a plan and the resources we should be able to do it.

Any suggestions?

Before we do this we need to shore up the electoral college, and develop and pass legislation that ensures one qualified citizen, one vote.

As the GOP proved nationally, it will require planning and discipline. Let's "begin with the end in mind" (a GOP majority in Sacto in 2004) and work back from there.

We may want to start a new thread on this since we seem to be somewhat OT already.

We should convince the Christians and Catholics that.....

Just curious what, is the difference between a Christian and a Catholic........?

Are they not one and the same?

OR......?

As for California, we are getting closer! The main thing I see is we need to get better election laws.

Were we somehow able to do that, for example showing ID at the polls and for registering, we might not have the fraud we do, thus getting rid of some of the liberals who win that way.

We need to get together and lobby somehow for these way too lax laws to be strengthened. I tried it by myself after the election of 2000, and got nowhere of course. Strength in numbers is something that might help.
