Here is a question. Since Kerry had his discharge upgraded, would there not be some type of public records paper trail where he requested it it was granted? Shouldn't those records be available through the FOIA?

There was no doubt in my mind that Bush's truthfulness and forthrightness would prevail against the lies and half-truths of Kerry and his supporters...good read - I must admit, I was not as optimistic as the author - I lived through the demise of McGovern and Carter and knew that the American people back in those days were clearly astute and wise enough to see through such destructive frauds - but after they serenely stuck by the likes of Bill Clinton for eight years, giving him higher and higher approval ratings as the scandals and convictions grew, and after they continued to consult the likes of the New York Times as the "newspaper of record" in spite of the Old Medias' clear lies and partisanship in trying to take down the President, and after they kept on honoring the likes of Barbara Streisand and Martin Sheen with support for their performances even as such "show business" types used their stage to ridicule and denounce the President in very difficult times - after all this, I was not sure the American people still saw and understood what it really takes to assure this country survives and succeeds - by proving that still do, the American people may actually be the biggest winners in Tuesday's election......

The Senate will not impeach him. There is an unwritten rule in Congress that hey pretty much ignore each other's criminal actions. As for the media, outside of Fox, the Internet, and a few conservative papers, it will never be mentioned.

However, if it can be proven that Kerry participated in insurrection or given aid and comfort to the enemies of the US (which can be proven, of course), he can be disqualified from keeping his office. The problem remains of finding a court that will enforce the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

It is obvious that their motivation was the hope of a cushy job when their new-found knight in shining armor moved into the White House.

Which "cushy" job were they after, defense, state, national security, army or navy? Ask the present incumbants who work 16 hr day 7 days a week about how cushy these jobs are. I had not noticed that Rummy or Condi were on the gulf course at 10:00 AM on Wednesdays. They are even bigger idiots than we thought if this is what they thought they were going to get. Of course, life would have been real cushy after we pull out of Iraq, right up to WTC II, about 3 weeks later at which point they would be in full wag the dog mode.
