Welcome to Free Republic..Great article!
You say that abortion is not to be treated as birth control but at the same time you are condoning it's use. You sound like Kerry. Also, Curt was dead on about the gay marriage. You can be against gay marriage but not be a gay basher. I am not even a church goer and I am against gay marriage, but could care less if gays live togther and lead their gay lives. I draw the line at marriage however. If you think that makes me or any other conservative a gay basher, well you are entilted to think what you want but thinking it doesn't make it true. That is something Liberals, progressives, Democrats or whatever name they use(lefties) haven't figured out.
Keep thinking like that Raya9496. Never open your mind to a critical thought. You and your party will then lose elections for years to come.
At least tell us you've been lurking. On second thought don't....given your above piece, I would not believe you.
Cheers!
Who's the bigot, Raya? Think about it.
Raya can't answer, the mods got her.
Go Curt! I live in the Sun's distribution area and will look forward to seeing you in print!
Yes, it is very good. I'm just wondering where in the heck he's been since '98.
Excellent article! Yet, I don't think they (the left) will get it.
I wouldn't hold my breath on the Star, though. One of their honchos, Lewis Diuguid, is a horrid, closed-minded, liberal racebaiter who doesn't like opposing opinions.
This is very good. I am impressed.
actually, ConYoungBlack's address of homosexual marriage was more astute than you can appreciate(your first post is telling)...
and obviously more in tune with the pulse of the nation.
you can thank the judicial court in Massachusetts for igniting the country into finding ways to bring this issue to the people to VOTE on, rather than allow it to be certified by radical judges with their own agendas...
Well done...
It occurs to me that maybe we DON'T want the Michael Moore's and celebrity types (including biased media elite) to go away. They are what energizes the rest of us, and, obviously, there are more 'reds' than 'blues'.
If you think about it you can see just how out of touch the FarLeft really is. As long as they continue to think they are smarter and better informed, and continue to run candidates from the ultra-liberal Northeast, they will continue to lose.
Their platform is from the pre-Depression, pre-Roosevelt era, and they simply refuse to change it. They don't have a clue what "moral values" means, they just heard that's what beat them in this last election. As usual, if you disagree with them you are a label...a redneck, a bigot, a Christian extremist, etc., etc. Fine! Call me names, just keep losing.
Better late than never... in 1998 I had just started lurking and still got most of my info from Drudge.
aw, nothing better then toying with trolls in the morning...she was a little more obtuse than the usual flavor...
Welcome to FR. What the left means by diversity is diverse appearances not diverse opinions. At FR we respect your opinions and don't give a sh!t what you look like, unless you look like Ann Coulter.
I understand. I used to be typical black Democrat by default, but Bill Clinton's presidency helped me realize how conservative and Republican I really am. That's where I was in 1998, I was in unlearning and relearning school, and I've been there ever since. (ha)
Curt
"Welcome to FReerepublic! Beautiful essay, but you gave them too much good advice. If they follow it, we may have to compete with them again in 10 or 20 years"
My thoughts,too!
Wow! Really enjoyed your post. Great comments and writing. look forward to hearing more from you.
Why is it better to have an abortion in a hospital than at home? I assume you mean it it "safer" for the mother and certainly more profitable for the baby killers. I say home abortions are more practical. It just might kill two birds with one stone. And what's the cost of a coathanger?
