I don't recommend heavy out-of-state targeting of Jeffords. That will piss Vermonters off enough to vote for him. They don't like "flatlanders" messing in their elections.

Awhile ago a Massachusetts Republican named Jack McMullen moved up here to run against Pat Leahy for Senate.
People were so incensed about his "carpetbagging" that in the primary they voted for an 80 year old dairy farmer named Fred Tuttle who ran as a joke (promo for the "A Man with A Plan" movie) instead. Tuttle won with about 80% of the vote.

Even the non-left Vermonters are stubborn as rocks. If they sense out-of-state interference all hell will break loose.

hmmmm... i guess in smaller states it is more noticable when an out-of-towner comes in. Maybe we can just support whoever is nominated there with out of state donations? I am sure Jumpin' jim or wheover the Dems nominate will get some too.
