Which Fox News anchors/reporters/pundits/hosts do you think are really, sincerely right-leaning? (VANITY)
We probably all prefer Fox News over CNN, CNBC, the network news shows, etc.
But I was wandering as I was watching the election night coverage and Brit Hume seemed so giddy with excitement when Bush started to pull away - what are the true political leanings of the Fox News staff?
My take:
Bill O'Reilly - Basically a slightly left-leaning Libertarian redeemed by a belief in a vigorous American foreign policy and a sneering content for the MSM
Brit Hume - love the guy....with us 100%, I believe...I LOVED the way he interacted in such an over-the-top way with Susan Estritch on election night basically wiping her face with Kerry's loss....
Fred Barnes - same as Brit, 'red' to the core....but fair and honest in his analysis..
Shep Smith - seems to also take glee in Democratic pain but not so sure....his very patriotic stances make me think he's one of us, though...
Sean Hannity - no issues with Sean....
Morton Kondracke - middle of the road leftie but fair....
Greta Van Susteren - big time left winger if I had to guess...
Juan Williams - leftie....no doubt about it....
What do you all think???
Don't forget LINDA VESTOR, she's on in the afternoon. She uses her audience so well. I haven't figured out how she gets such a conservative audience everyday for a show in Manhattan.
Rick Leventhal. I agree about Ollie. What a super super patriot.
"Linda Vestor"
I heard that she is very smart and can speak Arabic.
"I think you're wrong about Edie Hill. She's a righty."
Whatever she is, she's a waste of air-time. She is a self-described moderate democrat who is a prima donna. Hill is frequently absent, talks over and through people she appears with or is being interviewed.
I really don't give a rat's ass about "Mr. Hill" or the latest product of her seemingly endless chain of relationships.
Frankly, I've become tired of the "Friends" period. Just so much pap.
Rick Leventhal was embedded with the Marines, fantastic reporting from Iraq.
I have a crush on Tony Snow. That blonde woman on Fox and Friends ( can't remember her name -E.D?) once called him a hottie and you should have seen Tony blush.
Greg Palkot is in Falujjah now.
I've said this too on another post. The problem ths dims have with this is they attendd church for the next 4 years, so they can actually say they have values and mean it and know what it's really all about. But you know what? I bet then they'd open their eyes and say "Well I'll be dipped in @#$%!! Now I'm a Republican"
Rita is from South Carolina and shows open contempt for Dems.
I will never forget him from 9/11 - out on the street reporting, when the first tower collapsed, and the dust cloud engulfed him.
O'Reilly takes his cues from John McCain. Neither one is a true conservative. Both trashed the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and neither one is worth listening to.
That does it. The name Greg Kelly and the words wonderful embedded. I think I need to go read about Arafat dying or something.
In the Babelicious Foxette category, lots of folks overlook the biggest Babe on Fox.... gorgeous and smart too
Kiran Chetry.
Look for more of her on Fox in coming months...
Er... maybe I should clarify that.....NAH!!!!
Several of the dims have been on TV talking about their 'values'. Alan was talking about them last night. Their take on 'values' is certainly not what conservatives think. They get more into talking points instead of values. Health care is not a 'value'.
Thanks for the info on Krauthaumer. He is very very bright !
Shep lives in NYC. I've heard rumors that he plays for the other team...
The poster I responded to had a ? by Carl's name, so I just told what I know. I got a little annoyed by his segments this cycle, but it was nothing to do with him and everything to do with the fact that I couldn't take that much Kerry.
What about David Asman? I love him. He's so calm and he never lets lefties get away with lies. I think they are surprised because he seems too meek to take them on.
Heather Nauert
