Normally Democrats urge their candidates to expunge God and morality from politics. Even the word morality grates on them. It is a far too judgment-laden term for their taste. How about the insipid term "ethics"? Okay, if you must -- goes the attitude -- but don't use the loaded term "morality." Yet what are we now hearing from the Mike Barnicles and Nancy Pelosis? That Kerry didn't talk about God enough. That he failed to satisfy the public's hunger for spirituality and morality. Like children who recently learned a new phrase, liberals are giving Kerry a post-mortem drubbing for not speaking to the "moral values" of America.

Who knew Democrats had such pious longings?
To: kupia_kummi
It's good for them to be thinking about such things.

Heard an 'expert' say today that the Dems need to learn the 'language' of morality.
That's all it is to them........saying the right words.
President Bush won because he lives the life. The left will NEVER understand it until they bow before God in repentance.

I really believe that they will fake being Christian the next round of elections. A new low that would land them straight into hell.

I hear that snake-handling is quite a religious experience.
To: kupia_kummi
What are they going to do?Walk in to a church and ask"Can I git me some religion here?"

Righteousness involves obedience to God's will. Anything else is counterfeit morality.

It just shows that Democrats STILL don't get it... I didn't vote for Bush BECAUSE he was religious, but I would never vote for a party that shows OUTWARD HATRED, CONTEMPT and DISDAIN for people who are.
A party that ATTACKS everything religious as WRONG, is lost in my eyes, and I am about as religious as John Kerry (a Christmas& Easter Catholic).
The leadership can PRETEND to be religious, (Clinton was FABULOUS at this) but I will never believe it, as long as their platform views ALL MORALITY as fascism.

I was channel surfing this morning and CSPAN1 and 2 had two simultaneous Democrat/"Progressive" What the Hell Happened press conferences going. One was hosted by some group named America Moving Forward or something like that. The chief speaker went on and on about how a majority of Americans still believe in what the "Progressives" believe in. Then they brought up Stan Greenberg, a dem pollster, who immediately showed through his data that the most common reason reason voters who considered both candidates picked Bush was conservative values. They blamed the election on the highly sophisticated and well funded GOP GOTV effort. I know the dems were well funded, but I guess they weren't sophisticated.
As an aside Stan Greenberg introduced himself as a democratic pollster who had worked for several progressive groups, 527's, and had most recently worked for the Kerry Campaign. I guess those campaign finance laws prohibiting coordination between 527's and campaigns are only for Republicans.

As usual the democrats don't get it.
Heard today that democrats were being urged to get into Bible School.
What they need to do is let GOD into their lives.
Man may not know their heart is not in what they say, but GOD will and does know.
