Tell your republican senator you didn't stand in lines, stand in the rain, supoort Bush with $$$ and support the republican party just to be shat upon by this RINO.
Go PI$$ up a rope, you damned RINO...the Conservatives won this one...not your mealy-mouthed Ilk!
Republican turns on his party = praise, love, TV appearances, called a great, brave statesman
Democrat turns on his part = treated like a kook or a traitor

Cardozo and Specter apparently believe that the US Constitution should be "interpreted" based on the chic political correctness of the day. "Evolving document" means that the document itself has no meaning and no standing.
________________________________
"That's the kind of strict constructionist that I'm looking for" in a judge, Specter said, pointing out that such a judge would not be labeled a moderate or conservative.
________________________________
No, such a judge would properly be labeled a liberal!
Do I have this straight - - Specter believes that a judge who "interprets" the US Constitution based on the chic (and fickle) political correctness of the day is a "strict constructionist"???
So much for my previous "benefit of the doubt" crap - - Specter absolutely has to go.
Specter is a typical Pa Republicrat and delusional besides. If he thinks this plays well anywhere but in PA then why did he get something like 1 vote (his) in the primaries for President, and why doesn't he have lots and lots of company in the senate?
This guy is as stupid as any RAT, and hasn't the first clue; give him permanent latrine duty.
Sounds like Specter is gearing up to duke it out with McLame and Hagel for the title of MSM's Favorite Republican. Why I do not know or care.
Specter is as clueless as the Democrats.
We must contact the conservative media in addition to contacting the politicians. They both feed off of the other.
Keep up the pressure...we will hit critical mass if we keep pushing.

The new GOP Senators coming in did not make it by being moderates. Coburn, DeMint, Martinez, Burr, Vitter, and Isakson will not be joining as moderates in the mold Specter envisions.
This also appears to be an insult to Santorum.
I can't believe we let the RINOs talk us into supporting this spRectum d-bag over Toomey...colossal error that must be corrected.
This the way they do it under Scottish law!
What does this say about Senator Specter?
Arlen is an imbecile. Moderation is just a fancy word for bend over and let the libs give it to you one more time. Where was their moderation during the campaign? They called us liars and idiots. In fact Kerry was caught on tape saying this very thing. Arlen, baby, President Bush received over 50% of the popular vote. 60,000,000 people think he's right. Take your RINO B$ and stick it where the sun doesn't shine pal!
"Specter said that commercial and other appeals to moderates allowed him to escape the voter tide that swept President Bush and two statewide GOP candidates to defeat in Pennsylvania."
The only "voter tide" in PA was the apparent massive fraud perpetrated on the honest voters of PA by Governor Rendell and RAT operatives, including ACORN and ACT, which dumped tens of thousands of voter registrations on the counties immediately surrounding Philadelphia on the last hour of voter registration. Kerry only won about 4-5 counties in all of PA, which looks very much like a "RED STATE" with a couple of "blue" pustules in and around Philly and Pittsburgh. Specter is sounding nuts. It might have been better to take our chances with Toomey.
We don't make progress by being wishy-washy cupcakes. This is the great lesson of Ronald Reagan, a lesson which the GOP quickly forgot after '88. Reagan trumpeted his conservative beliefs and agenda and got rewarded with two things: (1) 91% of all TV coverage of him was negative; (2) he won 49 states.
Bush II needs to learn from the mistakes of Bush I. Be strong, be bold, and be principled.
"Moderate" Republicans who try for national office are failures: Tafts, Fords, Rockefellers, McCains.
Specter barely won at all. I am convinced Toomey would have won by 55% or better. Rove's PA strategy failed utterly. I would prefer Toomey to Santorum at this point too.
