Specter is in the Republican Main Street Partnership (plenty of other names you'll recognize too). These members of the Republican party are not social conservatives, not by a long shot.

Bah, all these abortion nuts are making me dizzy. Abortion, with a plethora of evidences from the medical sciences, is killing an unborn baby, infanticide. (some liberals, true to their utilitarian spirit, are suggesting infanticide is legal as long as it benefits the interest of the mother).
All these "choice" propaganda do not take into account the child's "choice". The liberal hypocrisy of protecting the weak turns out to be protecting those who can vote.
Beware all. The left sees a crack in the dam with Specter and is exploiting it.

I am not a supporter of Specter. My entire family are die-hard Republicans and they voted against Specter because of the abortion issue. My parents, sisters and their family live in PA. I am originally from PA and I supported my family voting against Specter.
Arlen Sphincter doesn't deserve the Judiciary chair. He owes his Senate seat to the president and all the "abortion zealots" who came out to vote on election day.
