On assignment. I'm seeking interviews in the North County communities of San Diego for a feature article on activists and the outcome of the election. I'm also looking for any Republican activists that are somewhat "new age" in appearance or "breaking the conservative image". Email me at: cityseek@adelphia.net.
TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections; US: California
KEYWORDS: california; carlsbad; escondido; inspirational; oceanside; sandiego; sanmarcos; vista

I sort of fit the bill but I live in East County (Santee). I'm not all that young (45) but I am definately not your garden variety conservative.

You need to track down this guy . . . He's pretty shy, but he really knows things . . .

Too bad you are doing this interview in SD. I live in NY and fit that profile. Most people (from looks and style, interests, etc.) automatically figure me for a big lib, but then I blow their stereotype to pieces when I tell them I'm a conservative republican. LOL
Good luck with your piece, it's a great concept!

HERE IS A GOOD STANDARD TO LIVE BY.... NEVER NEVER TALK TO THE MEDIA. For one what you say will forever be in Lexis/Nexis and if they miss quote you or make you look like an idiot there is nothing you can do about that. It will come back and haunt you.

Sorry, Dude, no such place exists. Try Highway 94 near Boulevard...or anywhere in Fallbrook.

Go to Hillcrest.
IF you can find a Republican there,
that person will be an anomaly -- NEW AGE.
