I think she is being sarcastic. She is pointing out that the reason she missed everything about the election is precisely because she was reading only the Liberal sources.

It largely comes down to the amazing power of the rural vote for conservative family values.

Values drive how you approach any solution even when you don't yet know of the problem yet to come. Values determine how your character will grow as you work through situations.

People in rural areas realize you can fully trust another if you can discern their value base.

Kerry never showed a solid set of values or core principles. Consequently, those who still understand character knew he could not possibly be a good fit for president.

I generally fear we are losing this "uncommon sense". However, for now, we are safe.

It could be argued that Bush failed by almost any measure in his first term. Still, millions of red-state voters identified with him and shared his values. They refused to let him lose.

The lesson that the media should take away from the 2004 election is this: It's just as important to know all about who is voting for president as it is to know about who is running for president.

And they wonder why they're in last place. They're not just "voters". They're "news consumers" and they aren't consuming yours. HELLO! It's important for ANY BUSINESS to know all about WHO IS BUYING THEIR PRODUCT (or not buying it as the case may be).
