Saw this on c-span last night and they showed a picture from above Bush and Kerry at the 1st debate- looking down at the podiums. It looked like it was right from the start, and we may be able to see John F'ns note cards from this angle. Who knows...

I don't get it. Newsweek spends the entire year (four years) trashing the Prez then the week after the election, do a hit piece on the candidate they held up to beat him. These people are pathetic.

I can deal with JFK's pompous New England braughmian arrogance and bleeding heart liberalism, but these guys at Newsweek and their ilk are a different animal altogether. They think they are above the fray looking down on some kind of human exercise assuming the role of arbitrator for the american consciousness. I am looking forward to a world without the likes of Newsweek, Time, ABCNBCCBSBBCCNN.....

''If McCain said yes he would expand the role of vice president to include secretary of Defense and the overall control of foreign policy. McCain exclaimed, 'You're out of your mind. I don't even know if it's constitutional, and it certainly wouldn't sell.'''

You appear to be the only one on this thread who picked up on that. THIS is what everyone should be talking about instead of the f-words & the ''idiot'' remark.

I guess Kerry had a plan after all.

The negativism towards Bush increased as the campaign rolled into the final months and so did Bush's numbers. Kerry's campaign was in complete chaos from the start, a fact which was often speculated, but never admitted until recently. The media learned it wasn't possible to create a president out of Kerry and is in the process now of attributing fault to Kerry and not itself. Long live the media.

Yeh--and it was a page out of the Fidel Castro School of Government--if you pause to ponder what plans he had to ''expand'' the powers of the president.

The Democrats cannot admit that they are wrong on what matters to ordinary people, so they are blaming John F* Kerry for the defeat. In order to make that charge stick, the MSM must destroy Kerry. This Newsweek article is the first step in the process of personal destruction (of John F* Kerry).

Prior to this election, in political discussions, I often said that if the left gets back in this time, they'll never give up power. The offer to Senator John McCain was indicative of the Left's plan to rework the American government into their own image.

I look at this picture and I empathize with Teresa. While she must be a bitch, hypochonrdriac, blah, blah, blah........I still have to wonder what on God's green earth made this man ignore all that she has (even if he is just a Gigolo)to offer to seek power that he knows in his heart he should not have rightfully had. I'm about both there ages, and I bet she's fun when she's not trying to be what someone else thinks she ought to be. She looks bored and perplexed at why she's doing all this stuff. My only thought could be is that she really does love that A$$hole (.jpg) ....look familiar?

"Kerry had Gore's cell-phone number and called him. "This is John Kerry," he said when Gore answered. The phone went dead. Kerry tried to call several more times and never got through. He was hurt. "I endorsed him early. I was up for consideration as his running mate," he complained to an aide."

Hilarious.

Jean Fraud had better get used to this.

Navy Chief is not a spokesman for the SBVFT. He is a loose cannon.

I agree. This entire article is simply stunning. Thank God he lost. I don't like Joe Lieberman's politics and would fight tooth and nail to defeat him. But his possible election wouldn't frighten me. The thought of a President Kerry is truely frightening

"OK...he's the one who found and exposed kerry for taking orders from the viet cong."

Well if you believe that is what he found, then you are a sloppy thinker. But this isn't the thread for that kind of discussion.

This is a feel good thread. (And rightfully so.) It's also a thread to point up the lies of the media.

We will never beat the MSM's lies with half-truths of our own. We need to stick to the (verifiable) facts. Facts are our friends.

I remember press photos of that Grand Canyon stop. It was pitiful. He was practically dragging wife and daughter alone. They looked like a parody of spoiled b*tches who were oh-so-sophisticated bored with all of it.

You're right. It is sad. He's a lunatic, but even lunatics should have the loyalty of wife and children.

Has Estrich been on Fox since the President's re-election?

No, but it's only been three days, so she may not be over her hangover yet.

I'm certain that she was drunk when she did her last segment, babbling on about how the President's lead would evaporate when certain counties finished reporting.

"Why the f--- didn't he take it? After what the Bush people did to him...'"

What an arrogant jackass. Between that and referring to Bush as an idiot, I am taking much joy in his defeat. Oodles of schadenfreude.
