You will be amazed at the number of pro lifers marching on the Capitol. It is a site to behold.
Hope to see some of you all there.
bump.
BUMP
FYI
FYI
Can you make it?
My wife and I will be there with my kids and grandkids. Enough of us for a samll parade of our own.:-}
When January 22 falls on a weekend, the March for Life is held the following Monday.
This year's March will be January 24.
I know. I called the organization and checked. I will be attending the "Lifewatch" meeting to be held that afternoon, following the march.
AdminModerator, can you change the date in the tilte? Thanks!
For those who think you're "the only one" pro-lifer you know, you should attend this event. The media give it biased coverage (naturally!), but there are many thousands in attendance. I think the last time I attended, in 2003, the crowd size was estimated at 100,000 (Park Service, I think). Also, the number of young people (under 30) is impressive.
It is inspiring and exciting to watch, and to be a part of it.
Combining a trip to the Inaugural and the March for Life would make a great trip to DC!

Thank you. It is an AWESOME event.
Why? It seems to me that they would get even more people on the weekend than a weekday. Most pro-lifers work during the week.
Hope to see some of you all there.
Some of the key events will be on Friday or Monday -- when Congress is in session.
But I am off work on Saturday, January 22, 2005, and I plan to be in DC that day... And in prayer in at least one church around the area (I hope Jewish folks will pray also -- even though that is their Sabbath).
Abortion hurts everyone -- regardless of religion or race.
We needs God's help to break the harden hearts of some people...
I might be going, first timer!! Maybe get out of classes and hit the inauguration (sp?) too.
But that's just the way it is.
Question for everyone: Should I bring my 9-year-old daughter? I'm afraid that some of the pictures may be too graphic.
pro-life bump
I've been going since I was small and I've taken my kids since they were that age.
Prepare her to possibly see them, explain but don't dwell on the graphic images....
The experience is awesome.
We'll be there again this year.
Sounds good to me. Hopefully we'll see you there.
