Republicans win = skyrocketing homelessness.

You know the MSM is conjuring and spinning the articles as we speak. I just thought I'd give y'all a preview of headlines to come.

Percentage wise, it has gotten somewhat better. But the "mole people" still scare me.

Here in New York we already have between 30,000 and 50,000 homeless. You mean it's going to get worse?

dude, that's like the population of my city.

Bernie Goldberg, "How President Clinton Solved Homelessness". That's OK, I noticed it before Bernie pointed it out.

It's only the population of your city in terms of total numbers, not percentages.

Homelessness will work for tomorrow. Monday, the headlines will be "Racial Tensions At an All-Time High." Tuesday will be Seniors Choosing Between Paying Bills and Eating Dog Food." And so on, and so forth.

As usual, its Clinton's fault. Or maybe Clinton holdovers at the State Department.

http://www.census.gov/hhes/www/housing/hvs/q304prss.pdf

We know better but its their playbook of course now they are gonna have to get a new one because these numbers dont lie like they do !

For rental housing, the vacancy rate was highest in central cities (10.8 percent), while rates outside
metropolitan areas (MAs) (9.7 percent) and in the suburbs (9.5 percent) were not different from each other. When
compared with their respective rates a year ago, the rental vacancy rates were higher in central cities, lower outside
MAs, and not different in the suburbs.

The homeowner vacancy rate was lowest in the suburbs (1.4 percent), while rates in central cities
(2.3 percent) and outside MAs (2.1 percent) were not different from each other. The homeowner vacancy rate
in the suburbs was lower than one year ago, while rates in central cities and outside MAs were not different
from their respective rates last year.

Among regions, the rate for rental vacancies was highest in the South and Midwest, 12.3 percent each,
and lowest in the West, 7.7 percent and Northeast, 7.3 percent (although they were not different from each
other). In the Midwest, the rental vacancy rate was higher than a year ago, while the rates in the other regions
were unchanged from their corresponding rates last year.

Comparisons of the regional homeowner vacancy rates ran parallel to the regional rental vacancy rates,
with highest rates in the Midwest (2.1 percent) and South (1.9 percent), although they were not different from
each other, and lowest rates in the Northeast (1.2 percent) and West (1.4 percent), also not different from each
other.

When compared to third quarter 2003, the respective homeowner vacancy rates were higher in the
Midwest, lower in the South and West, and, in the Northeast, not different from a year ago.

People are moving out of the citys and into the burbs and the countrysides my cornfields are being eaten up with 5 acre tracks of housing development

Can we buy these lamps on the web?

Since we are in the midsts of the greatest housing boom in the history of the world, seems like a hard sell.

"Remember when homeless were called "bums" or "hobos"? That was much more fun." We must be PC. Now it's: Underhoused, non-employment seeking, fermented beverage consumers...

It's a function of economics, not resources. The poor and homeless will always be with us -- to a larger or greater degree -- but they should always be shown compassion.

You bring up one of my pet peeves. That is, allowing the MSM and Democraps to define the debate and it's started already with the "Bush must reach out to the opposition in America" (Dems) and "Bush must use this as a new start in his relations with Europe (France). Well, you know what, we need to play hardball with the French and Germans and "finesse" the Dims (after all most of them are Americans) and we don't want to make it harder for "08 and wind up with Hillary and Bill in the WH again...God, we'd never hear the end of that!!

I'm glad you posted this. I was thinking about it, but this way you get the heat for the vanity! Ha.

Seriously, I was noticing the familiar crap starting already. No mandate, country is completely divided, Bush has to do better, blah, blah, blah.

Now I'm pissed. Just 15 minutes ago, listening to Shawn H. in the SUV, network news break, and the moron says, "Although the Democrats barely lost the Presidential election, the loss of Senate and House seats could be a real problem..."

I was speechless. My 10 yr old son was the first to speak, "Dad, they didn't "barely" lose, they got their butt kicked! What is he talking about?"

Welcome to MSM bias and the 'Rat ignorance.

Do you think it is worth it to make an effort to confront these lies?

I do.

What is the best way to nip this in the bud before it's all we hear?

Letters / e-mails / phone calls / nuclear weapons (kidding)?

This is crazy!

He would definitely get some spare change from me, or at least applause, instead of my usual "Get a job."
