The evil genius Rove knew that Bush would win even if the MSM spotted Kerry 15 points. He also knew how ridiculous they would look at the end of it, and that they would never again have credibility. It was worth the risk.
I would not go that far. But, with a fair media this election, John Kerry would not have gotten more than 43 percent of the vote, guaranteed.
The following snip from Tim's article above demonstrates perfectly their willingness to NOT LOOK INTO KERRY's HORRIFIC ACTIONS! ( Not to mention teresa's!)
But the biggest measure of bias in 2004 may be all the stories, large and small, that the media omitted in John Kerry's defense. What a list we could make of largely avoided topics: the 1971 Senate testimony, the 20-year U.S. Senate record, Teresa's tax returns, Teresa's foundation politics, Teresa's near-daily gaffes, internal Democratic infighting, U.N. corruption in the Oil-for-Food scandal, etc.
Simply astounding! Horrific! How the media CHEATED AMERICA by not reporting on Kerry's past actions! They tried to make THIS MAN seem like a hero, a man without failures, a man who would SUPPORT our MLITARY and DID NOT ONCE QUESTION KERRY ABOUT ISSUES AMERICANS DESERVED TO KNOW ABOUT!
Simply horrific bias.
And it would have been DEVASTATING for our military to have to call this boob Commander in Chief. They know it (and probably think it is funny) and we know it, but most Americans have no idea of the ATROCITIES kerry committed against our troops, back then and ALL THROUGH HIS SENATE CAREER!
How the mainstream media tried to FOOL the American people, in a very dangerous and absolutely dishonorable way.
I didn't watch the MSM on 9/11/04. Did they show any of the footage from 9/11/01 of the WTC being hit or of the people jumping to their deaths? I think they wanted people not to think about 9/11 very much since that might make them vote for Bush.
