48% -15% = 33%
Come on, Tim! Level with us. Is the media REALLY biased?
And while you're at it, let us know if the sky is blue and the grass is green.
Sarcasm mode off!
Add to the above at least two 'October Surprises' with Mohammed al Baradei's al Qaqaa story and Osama bin Laden channeling Michael Moore.
Thanks for posting this article. All I can say is AMEN!!
EXCELLENT !
Well Moore and Osama have been working for the same short term goals...
Excellent article! My sentiments exactly.
But I disagree about one thing: The Corrupt Liberal Media DOES in fact realize that it is fighting for its life now. I expect to see some networks begin to lean back towards the middle, if not right. But I expect to see many more stations turn into "WB"-type networks as their incomes and ratings continue to tank. They'll probably keep their influence in the cities where broadcasting can still be profitable for them, but main street America has almost completely turned them off.
What's next is that moderate outfits like Fox will increase their major inroads into historical CRM country.
bump
The media's self-proclaimed ability to siphon off 15% of the vote for their precious dems is overplayed. I doubt they have that much influence.
The irony of this is that the MSM entities that forfeited their credibility in order to libel GWB apparently didn't consider that doing so would be ineffective.
It takes your breath away doesn't it? Seeing it in black and white- the numbers of biased hit pieces against Bush- compared to the ones against Kerry.
Great piece by Graham.
Awesome article, btw.
You say, "The Corrupt Liberal Media DOES in fact realize that it is fighting for its life now. I expect to see some networks begin to lean back towards the middle, if not right."
Guess again - have you even looked at USA today articles on the election. Many of them are slam jobs and this paper is not alone.
Believe me, the press will ride Bush harder than ever. Rather than try to meet us in the middle they are determined to prove to us that they were right and we are stupid. Don't believe for a minute that these partisan sledgehammers are going to change their tune.
"I expect to see some networks begin to lean back towards the middle, if not right."
All I ask for is that they get in the middle, or more accurately, be neutral. Report the news, don't invent it.
If something legitimately wrong is done (even if it were our side), then report the facts and nothing else.
Let us decide.
And get the kiddie element out of the Democrat party.
Return to being a loyal opposition (that keeps the other side from possibly being complacent) and not obstructionists. They need to grow the H up.
I knew we dragged you guys back into the Union for a reason. ;-)
A hearty Thanks to ya all!!!
We-the-people have the right to our own opinions, and the right to publish them on our own dime, without being advantaged over other citizens by the government.Broadcasters have their licenses on the basis of government finding that they "broadcast in the public interest as a public trustee." No constitutional basis at all for censoring you and me to favor the owners of the broadcast licenses!
bump for later use with liberals
