There is no doubt that the efforts of the Swifties contributed to Kerry's defeat...and much of their fundraising happened here on FR.
How's that for a start?

It was a Freeper that first questioned CBS news's forgeries. Then the bloggers picked it up.

Did we FREEPERS, contribute to his re-election? .... Yeah, I think so.
IF SO HOW....
I made as many political parodies as I could to get the message out that Bush was The Man and Kerry was an assclown. Does that count?

I'm sure I wasn't the only one to respond to the call to volunteer and make 15 phone calls...
To: crushelits
Of course it did. Communication is one of the pillars of politics. Whether it was RatherGate, the AP "booing" story, or other propaganda in the MSM, the FR was key to debunking the lies and getting the truth out.
This forum keeps conservatives informed so that they can share good information with other people who are susceptible to MSM influence on current events and streams of thought.

Absolutely. I want to thank all Freepers who supported the President. We saw what was at stake and we pulled together for a win. Good job all!

I thought FR contributors spotted the Rathergate memos as frauds. If it's true, that's what the credit card company calls "priceless!"

Yes...my credit card was used twice to contribute to the Bush campaign. Also supported the SwiftBoat Vets.
I received my final thankyou e-mail from President Bush this a.m. The Swifties' thankyous came a couple of times,
the last one Nov. 1st.

By providing an essential marketplace for conservative ideas and zipping open the cyberspace of conservative networks. It's a bigger tent than I thought and I am so grateful.
I first learned of this site while browsing on Shootingsportsman.com
Keep up the good work!
