Home Gets Trashed Over Political Ideas (Dems reaching out)
San Diego Union-Tribune ^ | 11/4/04 | UT Staff

Posted on 11/04/2004 9:50:13 AM PST by Defiant

Stan Stafford of North Park didn't want to risk any more trouble. So on Saturday, three days before the presidential election, he took down the big Bush/Cheney yard signs that had dominated his North Park front yard.

It didn't matter.

Vandals trashed his house sometime early yesterday morning, splashing red paint on his sidewalks, plants, garage and house.

"Charles Manson did this," he said.

Stafford, a diehard Republican who lives on the busy corner of Texas and Meade streets, has been the target of several attacks. This most recent one did the most damage, he said.

He had hoped to avoid confrontation by removing the signs. "I didn't want to rub salt into anyone's wounds," he said.

Wouldn't be surprised because in listening to Rush right now, the Democrat party, if they don't change their way of thinking, will be out of power for the next two generations. They will be desperate enough to try terrorism since stealing and cheating the election didn't work.

Why do you think that Nevada, Colorado, Georgia and Texas are some of the fastest growing states?

Hispanics - legal and illegal.

I took my signs down the night of the election for the same reason. I was afraid they would do something to my house and I wasn't going to be home.

We got lucky though. At least this was Texas.

The only way the Rats can get back in is with another 3rd party ruse, like with Perot, or if they really fool the people, with someone charismatic who talks a good game but who advances the Rat agenda. Come to think of it, Clinton used both of these ploys in order to get elected, and the best he ever got was 49 percent. Gore got to 50 percent, but only because Bush didn't spend resources in places like NY and Cal. and Gore piled up votes in those places. The 48 percent they got in this election is about as good as they can get.

That said, if the GOP disappoints those who voted this time, they will be punished. It is important to have some accomplishments, on judges, gay marriage, the budget, taxes and tort reform. They also have to continue doing well in the war on terror. Play it right, and 2008 will be like 1936, a consolidation of the new majority governing party. After 2008, the RATS will move, or commit hari-kari.

My Bush/Cheney sign is still up in my front yard. I only saw 1 or 2 others in all my travels down here in (insert tag line here). I'm leaving it up for a while because my wife's home this week. I have Bush stickers all over my car (but they're magnetic hehehe)

And YES I'm buying a shotgun soon. I wanna do skeet shooting. Plus it'll be nice to have around.

None at all amd I don't have a problem with the illegals that come here to work. The population growth in those cities is from hispanics. Do you deny that?
