I am thinking that as a bipartisan move, President Bush should appoint Sen. Kerry to be our next Ambassador to France.

He doesn't have to. His opposition is galvanized in it religion of liberalism. His opposition isn't growing because they are the most likely customers of their most important sacrament - abortion. It is the children of the left, the protectors of the Religion of Death, who pay the price to genuflect at the altar of sacrifice. It's a sad testament, but the jewel of their "religion" is the source of their downfall.

ship them out to Europe or Canada and brink in conservative family oriented people into the US. That will tilt the balance.

Divide and conquer.....The hispanic vote is moving our direction....the black vote is moving our direction.....

We do not need to compromise our direction, ideals and focus but find ways of converting others to our side.....

Build a super-majority of 60% plus.....

We will never get them all but a super majority will ensure that we keep the country on track.

*sigh* The guy has been reaching out to the other side for the last four years. They won't compromise and want everything their way like children. I don't remember Clinton reaching out. At least not in the way he should have.

Vanity: How can President Bush reach out to the 48% of America that voted for Sen. Kerry?

What makes you think he wants to?

This question can only be answered by another, more important question

When the President reaches out to democrats AS HE DID in his first term, WHY WON'T THEY REACH BACK????????????!!!!!!

He can't reach out to them unless they're willing to reach back. So until they drop the Bush-is-Hitler routine, nothing's going to change.

Make Kerry our next Secretary Of State. He'd be the ideal diplomat!

Majority Rule.

Just like when Carter and Clinton were running things. They are just gonna have to suck it up.

I dont even feel pity for them.

Sorry, they need to reach out to us. We've tried with them and they have gotten uglier and more vicious. They can kiss my a$$. At least this week.

Without Iraq, Bush wins 60% of the popular vote. Seriesly.

The best thing he could do to make nice with Kerry voters is make Iraq a non-issue politically with a decisive and swift victory.

What they mean by "reach out" is to appoint pro abortion liberals to the Supreme Court and raise taxes on the middle class. The people who voted for Bush are obviously opposed to Bush going that direction.

I have some ideas:

1) Work one by one to persuade any Kerry supporters you know to your side, patiently.

2) Pray that there is a more eloquent speaker that could sell Bush's points more clearly.

3) Read "I Have Been Thinking" and "What Happens Next" by Richard Prebble (of New Zealand) and get his points forward.

4) Invite Sir Roger Douglas http://www.rogerdouglas.org.nz to explain his blurprints of superanniuation (social security) reform in New Zealand and adapt it into US usage.

Definitely. 48% is just a figure. When you weed out the dead, the criminals, the homeless, the mislead students and the left coast elite who will see the errors of their ways eventually...the real percentage is around 25%. The true amount of socialists in this country are not that large.

I think the election shows one thing clearly...it needs to be the other way around. It's their turn to do the damn reaching.
