Electoral College Projection - GW Wins without Ohio!
Real Clear Politics ^

Posted on 11/04/2004 5:13:38 AM PST by SONbrad

According to this morning's Electoral College Projections on Real Clear Politics, Wisconsin will go to GWB when all of the votes are counted. This means that Bush would win, even without Ohio. So all of the DemocRAT hand-wringing about "provision" ballots in the Buckeye state was worthless.

But what's the word from PA? Will absentee ballots be counted there? I still think Bush could pick this one up.

I noticed on Hardball last night that Wisconsin was white, along with NM and IA. My county went 67% Bush and it was reported last night on our news that 97% of our eligible voters cast their ballots.

Okay, forget the question, I was looking at poll numbers, not vote tallies. Oops.

That's screwed up.

The actual webpage is talking about polls.

I think that was some poll, not actual vote count. Your estiamte is closer to the truth.

The actual count........Bush won Florida by 378,000 votes!

3,838,376 versus 3,460,867

Wisconsin Electoral Votes: 10
President 100% of precincts reporting

Candidates Party Vote Count % Votes Cast
Kerry Dem 1,488,935 50%
Bush Rep 1,477,122 49%

This is from USA Today.

Wisconsin has been called for Kerry.

Really? Is this official? That would be great, and assuming IA stays in Mr Bush's column that would make 4 Gore states that the good guys picked up. I remember reading one article a while back saying GWB seemed "determined" to win over WI this time. Just maybe he will.

Well I did say some 300,000+ I just did not feel like doing the complete math :) I just glanced at the CNN map totals.

The reporting requirements for each SOS vary by state, but they're typically required to report final results within 3-4 weeks of the election.

When can we expect all the counties to report through out the USA,, also counting the overseas ballets ?

Common misconception that absentee ballots won't be counted 'unless they will make a difference'. Ppl tend to forget that there's lots of races on a ballot besides the Prez.

Will absentee ballots be counted there?

I know. I fugured you knew and said your estimate was more accurate.

I just listed the actual numbers for the others that may not be glancing at the actual totals.

That's a fabulous turnout for the Pres. Thanks.
